I cant be the only one who thinks Gai needs more appreciation! Most people don’t even try to understand his character and just label him as the goofy comedic relief. Only giving him some credit when he fought against Madara.

Like there’s so much more to Might Gai which doesn’t get talked about enough. First of all I think he’s the best sensei. Don’t get me wrong Kakashi, Kurenai and Asuma were all great sensei’s but I just feel Gai was always wanting to actually be one.

He wanted to know his students dreams and help the achieve them, but still being truthful to them about the difficulty. Like when he tells Lee being a shinobi with only Taijutsu is difficult but an admirable goal.

Or when he helped Tenten in finding a speciality she could excel in.

Gai is also one of the strongest shinobi in the leaf. Like you’re telling me when Itachi and Kisame invaded the hidden leaf they were unfazed in fighting THREE jonins. But the instant Gai arrives on the seen, Itachi’s all like imma leave.

Not to mention Gai beat Kisame in water. Do I need to say more.

Don’t get me wrong Gai’s humor is also a big part of his character. It’s just not the only thing you know? So I just get annoyed when he’s dumbed down to the comedic relief when there’s so much more.

Honestly I just love Gai so much. He deserves more love and attention. You don’t have to agree with anything I say this is just my opinion 🙂‍↕️💕
