Some things I’ve learned as an artist that applies to life itself:

Practice really leads to improvement.

There’s no such thing as perfection.

Don’t compare your work to others; but you can observe the work of others to look for new ways to improve your own.

Don’t believe you have to be exactly like someone else to have the same success.

You don’t need to do what everyone else is doing.

Find your own style and way of doing things, don’t just try to emulate other people’s.

There’s only one you. Find your unique voice. Value who you are and what you have to say.

Be curious; experiment; pursue your interests.

Love what you do, do what you love.

Find joy in the process, not just in the outcome.

Have patience. Don’t hurry.

Learn to observe and to see things you couldn’t see before.

Don’t do something just to please others.

Don’t be afraid to start over.

When it’s needed, let it go.

This is your world. Create. Enjoy.

Little secret I’ve been a LIFELONG Final Fantasy series fan and took on a fun personal project to do a portrait for heroines across the Final Fantasy series for its 30th anniversary. ✨  I really hope you like them!!
