BL manga is by an large treated as something made by and for girls and women, and men who like or write it are treated at best as "unwelcome" or at worst as freaks so confirming it was written by a man in universe and that he's happy to see it's not ONLY girls who enjoy his work is an EXTREMELY big statement for GNK to be making Second note: it's Protagonists look rather familiar

their resemblance to this generation's Naruto and Sasuke must be noted...we are DISGUSTINGLY overdue for an Action and Battle based BL that lets it's protagonist and his rival be canonically Gay third: relating to the above, Loveable Lunches appears to, in universe, be a random mish mash of SHONEN manga tropes with some direct hints parodying Specific series....so the fact it's depicted as that, further stresses there is in fact a desire for an Action and Battle based BL anime that is not being met
