A LOT has been happening, trying to organize myself, I have about 10 pages sketched out, so no, this blog isn’t dead. Here’s the 2 first pages very rough WIP sketches, since it’s been so long. Sorry about that, but I’m still around.

Just wanted to let you know, I think I'm going to make a cosplay of Asriel, including his Deltarune crest shield and possibly even the Great Fairy/Mettaton (Great MTT? Metta Fairy?) sword, just for fun. That being said, what color scheme should I use for the "sword"? Love this whole concept BTW!

aaw, that sounds really sweet. As for the sword color scheme? Pink, just… shades of pink. Do what feel right in your mettaton-shaped heart.

or incorporate all his colors, who knows. Do what you will!!

I’m so sorry for the radio silence after saying “hey I’m continuing”, I had a massive mental health issue shortly after actually. I have sketched up a few pages already, I’m just trying to pick myself up again, it’s been extremely hard.

I’m also trying to put a little pipeline together so I can release a page or two every week. Its a challenge I want to tackle, right after I sloppily glue my mental health back together.

Moving Forward

Alright, thank you for all your replies, I was genuinely happy to read how considerate so many of you are. You all were very understanding, it was very comforting to me to read!

I’ve been spending the last week making a basic outline of the entire thing and I did find myself becoming excited at the idea of developing this. I do admit, it is quite big (for me anyway) but I do want to take this on as a challenge, to upload something weekly, to have a schedule and sticking with it (or to the best of my abilities).

So with that, I am going to move forward and continue this comic. Plot-wise, it will be going a lot more linear, starting right after Asriel walks through the doors into Clocktown; the whole thing will be organized within the comic archives.

Hi there,

It’s been … quite a while, huh? Some of you are fairly new, some have been here since the beginning, it’s amazing how time flies.

The reason why this blog seemed abandoned (and I guess it was?) was because a lot of things happened in both our lives, as life often does. I won’t go into details, but let’s say the comic was definitely put on the back burner while we dealt with life in general.

I was thinking of leaving this blog alone but I’m on the fence about this. I could let it be, and make an official post saying ‘no more, that’s it,’ to give you guys some closure, however, I feel very guilty about abandoning this blog. I constantly felt indecisive, didn’t know what to say, what to address. I didn’t know if I wanted to end it or to keep going; I still have some story I want to develop, there’s some really cool concepts I’d like to see come to light.

I finally worked up the courage to address my indecision and so, I have a question for you guys, and I want you to be honest:

Would it be a good idea to keep this comic going?

It would just be me ( @smieska-draws) this time around, so the quality will not be the same. It will not be the creation of two artists but of one. I would have no idea how often I would update, I don’t draw comics fast, but I want to challenge myself a little into having a regular schedule for a comic and this seems like a great opportunity.

It would most likely be lineart only, or very basic greyscale (maybe have some guest colourists? I don’t know, I’m just spitballing ideas around)….

So again, so sorry about the radio silence for so long, the truth was I didn’t know what to say. But at least now it’s a little bit clearer? I await your answers.

OK so I’m a big Zelda fan and Majors Mask just so happens to be my favorite game in the franchise behind breathe of the wild. Editing this was so much fun cause I wanted to remain faithful to the games sound design as well as themes n.n
