Nate meant to drop some files off in Major Strikes office. He was always sent to do the boring tasks after all…
However Nate was real tired (what’s new) and he wasn’t exactly thinking straight!!
So… he ended up curled up on the floor of Majors office, the files hugged close to his chest like a stuffed animal.

(ooc- the rp i was talking about last night hehe
(I'm alive!!)
Major huffs as he walks down the hallways, Sunny bounding behind him as usual, and Major opens the door with a small creaking noise, before pausing in the doorway and staring at the ground. "What is it?" Sunny tries to peek over his shoulders, but he's too tall, so she just jumps up, then laughs. "Is he asleep? On the floor of your office?" She giggles as Major walks in and kneels down, tapping his head a few times before pinching his nostrils shut. "Yep." He replies to Sunny, who keeps giggling and stands beside Major. "Must have been sleepy."
’ I won’t tell you about what rumors until you help me out too. ‘ Then Nate stood up, starting to walk ‘ As for my reason to leave? I’m not here by choice. Once I get the chance to run, I will. ‘
Sunny just looks as Nate tries to open the locked door. "What are you talking about?" She asks and looks confused, Major also seeming quieter than usual. "Talk to us, Nate."
"The fact you just... Acted like we were spies and decided you could dump your plans infront of a man who could easily get you turned against..?" Sunny replies and points to Major, who glares at Nate like he just killed everyone in sight. Pure rage and frustration. "Uhm..."
Major just stares at him, then grabs his radio and calls someone in, Sunny getting up and guarding the door. "What are you talking about, Nate? You're a soldier, no?"
Nate tilted his head ‘ Assumed you would’ve looked at my file by now…. No. ‘ He bit his lip ‘ I’m here to… work for my freedom. Thought you would’ve registered the ankle monitor and my check ins with an officer by now. ‘
"I'm not that attentive." She grumbles and looks at the door, Nate's officer walking inside and looking pissed. "Yeah, jus' take 'im." Major speaks from his desk, Sunny nudging Nate towards the officer with a whispered apology.
Nate had well… caused a bit of a scene during last week. He had literally attacked an officer and had to be sedated. Now he was in Majors office, feeling a bit awkward.
Major sat at his desk like usual, elbows on the wood and hands clasped together. "Care to say anything about that incident, Nathan?" Major speaks up and raises his eyebrows behind his balaclava. "Because you caused a little bit of havoc, so to say. You wanna... Share it?" He asks another question, enticing him to answer. Sunny wasn't there, which was weird. She's usually always with Major. Because of that, the room was awfully silent and empty despite all the furniture, the two men, and the ambient buzzing of the light. "You have to talk about it eventually." Major adds on, adjusting his position to hold his head up.
Nate was quiet for once in his life, looking away and leg bouncing. ‘ No I don’t. ‘ He didn’t have to talk about anything. This is what happened when he let his guard down. He didn’t want to do that agin.
"Well, you'll have to. So, I suggest you do so now, while you have the chance to one on one. Before that officer tries to sue you for assault." He tilts his head, continuing to look at Nate. "I'm just saying, this might be your last chance to comfortably talk about it, before it blows up and you're in meeting after meeting having to answer all these questions about what happened."
"And were you fighting him?" He asks with gentle intent for once, seeming like he cares. "And we were being like that because of your actions. You seemed very ominous, like you were going to attack us or.. Sunny and I talked. She thought you were a soldier, and thst it seemed very weird when you were talking to her about the whole 'clearing our names' thing, with the rumours. So, she's sorry. Can't make it, in a training workshop." He explains and shifts in his seat. "But.. It was peculiar intent that came off you in the moment, hence the officer was called. But- I'll let you explain."
Nate crossed his arms ‘ I’m not who many think I am Major. I’m an ex conman-. I’ve committed theft and several other crimes. I was convicted in the states but I was sent here under strict supervision so special forces could use me as a spy due to my skill of being able to blend in. I’m not a soldier. ‘
"We know that now. Actually had the time to read your file." He sighs and leans back, the chair squeaking in protest. "Sunny didn't know that, though. Had to explain your a criminal. Hence her original shock and.. Nerves. The reaction she had. I know your story, so just tell me what happened last week. With the officer."
Nate looked away, cause how did he tell this man about how he felt trapped?? How he didn’t know what was going on until he woke up after being sedated, just?? blacking out and panicking?? ‘ I hit him right? ‘
’ I remember being in handcuffs. A lot of people were there. They were looking at me differently. ‘ Nates leg was bouncing even more at this point. The normally sharp and witty man was quite nervous.
"Sedatives do that to you." He nods to Nate and listens, hands crossed on the desk. "So, you remember being held down, which is good... Can I ask why you started to panic and scare?"
Nate sighed, tugging at his hair a bit. He didn’t like all this questioning ‘ Nobody was telling me what was going on, and you looked like you were gonna kill me- Then my officer tried to pin me down- Then others did and- And- ‘
Major nods slowly as he listens, hands clasped in his lap under the desk. "Mh.. I understand." He nods and shuffles his chair over, rummaging through a draw before sliding a stick of gum over the table. "Sunny's stash. Don't tell her." He smiles and pats it twice, then lets Nate continue talking. "It's alright, though. You're not being kicked out or anything, just some strict rules and a few extra officers on watch. For a week, though. Even if I was told to not tell you.." He mumbles with a huff. "Don't panic, though. Just listen and you'll be put off real fast."
Nate took the stick of gum, slowly unwrapping it and putting it in his mouth. He started unconsciously tearing up the wrapper and leaving little bits of it on the floor under the desk. ‘ Would’ve thought I was in more shit. ‘
"Clean floors are pretty floors." He glares at Nate again, sitting upright with a sigh. "And favoured answers will just have you in more shit, Nate. Do it with Zivah, even Dagger." He shrugs and checks his watch, then the door bounds open with a smiling Sunny. "Oh-! Did I interrupt..?"
Sunny waits until Major lets her inside, shuffling in and laying on the couch. "What'cha talking about?" She asks, sensing the tension in the room. Major looks to Nate and does a little hand gesture while he turns to Sunny. "The incident last week."
The empty halls gave an eerie vibe to the base, and it was currently midnight, a few soldiers just coming back from a mission that had a bit of a scuffle. The Major hobbles inside with an aching leg horribly bandaged up and probably oozing blood, leaning on the wallswith a small huff as the man pulls himself to the medbay. "Hff.." He grunts and keeps walking to the MedBay, dropping down onto a bed to fix the bandages up as a medic walks over to tend to him. He says nothing as the medic walks over, just letting them do their job. Then, Strike immediately perks up at the sound of crying. Familiar crying... God, he could recognise that sobbing wail anywhere. He hurries the medic a little, then shuffles over to the bed to help the soldier.
The source of the crying was Price's boy, Leon. He was crying silently because of his injury he got during one of his sneaky tries to climb an obstacle course. He slipped and scratched his leg badly, blood oozing from the deep wound, which he had a few tissues pressed against.
He was currently walking or more accurately said, hobbling into the medbay, his hand pressing the tissues against the wound he knew needed to be stitched up. He has a bit of knowledge on medicine, since it's one of his smaller special interests.
(Hope you don't mind if the character is a teen, could rewrite it as one of my grown up OCs, if that's what you would prefer ^^')
Major grunts and leads the kid to a bed, trembling a little himself because of the blood loss. He'd tried to wave it off as a small scratch and stayed talking to the pilot, but got left behind by the medic team taking soldiers to the infirmary, so he had to hobble here all himself, which is a long walk. "Gh.. Sit, kid.." He grunts and sits Leon down, shuffling to kneel down and take the tissues out to replace them with a proper bandage. "Parents?" He asks Leon, looking up at him.
"Coming from a mission soon. Last I heard, ETA was about 10 minutes." Leon answers as he looks down at the wound on his leg before looking back at Major.
Major pauses and slowly looks up to Leon. "They have a child? The Captain and Colonel?" He raises his eyebrows under his balaclava, nodding slow. "Didn't know that. How old?" He asks the boy, tightening the bandage a little.
"Kind of clicked that." He huffs and stands up, patting his knee. "All bandaged." He stands tall, bulky and kind of shadowing Price in a sense, maybe even Ghost if he's lucky. "Y' in there?" He asks the teen, waving a large hand in his face.
"I'll-" He pauses and nods to a medic, shuffling off to a cot and sitting down. His leg is bandaged up while he sneaks looks at Leon, furrowing his brows in what seems to be confusion. "Oi, how are you their kid?" He asks, not intending any hatred behind his words, but it might have come off that way from his tone.
"Well, in simple terms, dad (Price) had a marriage before Val, which I am conceived from. Told me he didn't know about me till after he was a month married to Val and I showed up on the door step of his barracks with a note from his previous wife."
"Silly choice." Major slightly scolds him and raises his eyebrows under the fabric, making it shift a little and show his blonde hairs poking out underneath.
"Mh." He nods with a small huff again, shoulders making an awkward jolt and Major hisses, hands on his bandage. Probably touched his wound while trying to move it around his massive legs.
"It's fi-" Major pauses as the bandage snaps around his legs, blood trickling down again. He just sits there in silence, staring at Leon from his bed, not looking impressed.
Leon smiles a little to himself in amusement before he says as he looks around.
"Told ya." He notices some gauze and bandages on a nearby table and he gets up, walking over to it after making sure his pwn wound was okay and he picks it up before walking back over to Major and crouching down to see the wound.
Major just makes a grumble and looks at his lap, adjusting his balaclava with little blonde hairs poking out the eye slits. He tucks the hairs back inside, leg twitching around as Leon touches it.
Leon carefully soaks up some blood with the gauze before he places a gauze square over the wound and bandages it up, tight enough to hold on but not too tight, so it wouldn't restrict blood flow.
