       this is a pretty big issue for me actually. 

        and not just because it’s really amazing to see what other muses         say, think and feel about your muse when they’re not around but         because I WANT SOME CONTINUITY. i am trying to create a          continuity for my character where everything that isn’t an AU          has feelings and actions making sense depending on a timeline         and people they know and love. actions have consequences.          relationships and events change people. 

        roleplay without that is… well, repetitive… & not very fulfilling to me.

Another meeting, another briefing, another three hours in a secured conference room, speaking with intelligence officers from around the globe—discussing the ever growing threat of the Soviet Union and their best way forward from here. Times were changing. War was changing. The world seemed to grow less black and white to the Major as the days passed. Old allies were now enemies and old enemies were now allies. Allegiances were shifting and David was sat, lost in thought about it all, when a familiar voice drew him from it.

Looking up, the corners of his mouth drew into a small smile, grateful to see something that hadn’t changed.

“Both, I’m afraid. A joint effort to analyze and strategize against our common enemy.”

He stood, giving her a rueful look. “The world is changing quicker than I had imagined it would.”

🍌 - What drew you into the fandom in the first place?

So this isn’t a story I often get to tell but it is the most absurd way I’ve ever stumbled into a fandom. I love dogs and wolves and canines in general. A really good irl friend sent me a link to a tumblr post with Venom petting DD from MGSV. That was it. And I fell down a rabbit hole. I think about all the people I’ve met and experiences I’ve had because of the MGS fandom and it’s really overwhelming to look back and say “all of this was the result of a friend sending me a link to a cute gif of DD”.

🍋 - Does your muse complain about things to you? If so, what?

He’s one of the only muses I’ve ever had outright throw a fit when I went to write a reply to a thread. His response was ‘I do nothing’. Eventually we settled on ‘I do nothing but my agents come in to handle the situation’. His complaints are very much ‘I don’t want to handle this situation right now’.

🌽 - Is there a fandom you’re too intimidated to join?

Anything Marvel related at this point. Comics, MCU, any of it. And that was my first big RP experience on tumblr! I wouldn’t go back to it now. Between the elitism and the drama, I’m out. I’m sure there are lots of amazing writers and folks in the fandom but it’s definitely not worth the stress for me. (But hey—if you write superhero/Marvel/DC verses or characters, hit me up. It’s always to write!)

🍓 - What’s your sweetest rp experience so far?

In general, all of the amazing friends I’ve made over the years. Honestly, there are so many wonderful people in every community I’ve been a part of. Maybe it’s cliche but it’s true. I went through a pretty rough patch where online friends I met through the RP community did nothing short of help me stay afloat. I’ll never forget that.
