That's a common response to this.

The problem isn't dating someone who just so happens to be 24. When I go to the bar, I regularly see people of various ages hanging out like peers. They don't strictly segregate themselves by age. And even at places other than bars, people of various ages can be coworkers or have hobbies that they share. So it's entirely possible for a couple to like each other when there's an incidental age difference.

The problem is specifically preferring someone much younger. If your goal is to find someone who will agree with you and you avoid anyone with opinions of their own, then you're a predator. I don't care if it's "legal".
