listening to “a promise” by xiu xiu feels like being 8 years old and discovering the internet for the first time in 2009 when it was absolutely not safe for kids so you could find something that was not meant for you (and frankly speaking for most people out there). basically stepping a foot in this new exciting yet filthy world
