Small rant post lol:

I can’t tell if it’s bc I’m neurodivergent or if I’m genuinely rude sometimes. Ppl will ask for my opinion on something and if it’s not my best friends ( @xxstrangermusicatxx and the other who isn’t up here) then I have to over explain/elaborate on how what I’m saying isn’t an attack on them. I’ve noticed this often happens with neurotypical ppl as a good bunch of my friends are neurotypical.

The point I’m trying to get to is I hate having my words twisted. Someone asks me if I want to go somewhere, “I’m fine with wherever I don’t really care” and my words get twisted into “I’m bored and I don’t want to do anything with you, leave me alone”?? If that were the case pls believe I would’ve outright said it. I’m just tired of over explaining myself to ppl. However this has also made me start being genuinely rude to ppl. My words get twisted, I shut the whole conversation down, and I leave. Once again, I don’t mean to be rude but it’s getting exhausting trying to tell ppl to take everything I say literally unless it’s insanely obvious sarcasm. (emphasis on this bc I recently learned I don’t catch high levels of sarcasm apparently. I told this to another friend with ADHD and he said he goes through the same thing, which is why I included this) But that’s all I wanted to say bc it’s pissing me off.

TLDR: I have adhd and I hate when ppl twist my words when what I’m saying should be taken as is. HAPPY NEW YEAR YALL 🎉
