Hi there! I recommend following and talking to as many beauty blogs as you can through your profile to build up connections. I also highly suggest hash tagging any relevant tags on every post you make and posting original content multiple times a day. Good luck!

What are good makeup brands for beginners?

Hi! I would have to say that I think Tarte is a great brand for beginners. I started off using a lot of MAC products so I do think that would be a good place to start as well, but I know people might disagree with that. It is all up to you and your preferences.

Hello my name is Maria and I'm new to the whole beauty blogging thing and i wanted to tell you that your blog is amazing! You can see the amount if effort you put into each post. Anyway, my question is what are some tips you have for new bloggers, like how were you able to get started?

Hi! First off, congrats on starting your own page :) I struggled a lot at first with trying to get people to look at my content my biggest advice would be to message people with similar blogs as yours and ask for some help (which you already seem to being doing), post all the time because people love seeing new things constantly, and always use relevant hashtags with every post you make. Thoughts on hourglass ambient lighting powder? Recommend?

I personally really like the hourglass ambient lighting products! In general hourglass is one of my favorite makeup brands, so I like many of their products. The ambient lighting powders are awesome to set your makeup with in regards to different types of lighting. I have used luminous light as more of a softer highlight, but I also have used it all over my face for a very luminous finish. The one I use the most often is mood light to set my makeup with a soft glow. The different powders do different things, so I would definitely look into what you specifically want from the powder to be able to find which one best suits you, and it’s important to remember that the effects aren’t super obvious and that this is a finishing powder.
