Just a quick little HELLO!!

She has (potentially) returned to this place as a means of sharing my face and my mind with you (and keeping a sort of record of what I have done and - in future - can do!).

I’m going to do away with detailed product lists unless multiple people inform me they would like one. This is just a way to keep track of what I’ve done honestly and hopefully inspire others in some way. Be prepared for spam posting from the past, I’ll try not to overdo it.

|| Witch for Work || Since October is well and truly underway I thought it only fitting to chuck a spooky makeup in your direction! This was my makeup for last year’s Halloween Megadraw at work (2015).

What an amazing face to work on! Born for the makeup chair if I don’t say so myself... Having a client who knows exactly when to look up, look down, and close her eyes is magical and makes the application so much easier. Very handy when having to do a lot of faces in a short time period.

(P.S. Camera died mid-session. Had an older phone at the time hence the quality.)

|| Year 11 creative Arts - 2013 || In 2013 I helped a fellow student with her Creative Arts music video shoot project. The leader, Elyse (in the “LA” top), approached me with images of what she wanted each makeup to look like. I then reproduced them as best as possible on each of the other dancers.  It was an amazing day with a lovely group of girls! I hope that I’m presented with similar opportunities in the future.

|| Soft Pink & Purple || This look was used for a Mother’s Day event. Soft and feminine but with a defined crease and a touch of shimmer on the lids to bring it to life.

|| Green Smokey Eyes || An intense smokey eye with contouring to match. Still learning the ins and outs of my camera here, so the flash was more intense than needed (although in saying that I do naturally have a ghost-like skintone).

|| Favourite Colour || You’ll notice this colour crop up in my looks a lot simply because I am in love with just about every shade of blue there is!

Bold, bright and beautiful! Used Sugarpill Cosmetics’ Acidberry & Buttercupcake to create the majority of this look. The golden shade used to blend out the green is “Sunrise Gold” from Nutrimetics.
Unknown pink lip liner used for the brows and lips.
AVON lip laquer was used to give the lips that glossy look (unfortunately I have no idea what shade it was).

Current Header Image: m(A)lice in Wonderland Created for a Year 11 Creative arts Assignment.

Alice’s dress and the Hatter’s hat were photoshopped in, other than that the images are all natural. The collars were handmade by myself. I took inspiration from a lot of sources including Chuck McGee’s “Alice Madness Returns” and Tim Burton’s remake of the classic “Alice in Wonderland”.
