Something accidental. A glitch with inDesign but I'm into it.
It was supposed to say Stop trying to be everything to everyone. But that "y" got lost somewhere.
for relational design, Al and I collaborated on a project. I bound this book based on our project, Everything will be O.K.
It's meant as a tool to comfort us and give us a safe feeling when maybe the world doesn't feel so good.

This was the final version of my timeline, printed on Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Matte paper (5 star) on my wide-format inkjet.
Accordion bound. I really dislike accordion binds... I think they look really amateur but I didn't mind it in the end for this purpose of a timeline.

History of gd is a class that is part lecture and part studio. Studio "sections" run from 8am to 10:15am, and the lecture starts at 10:30am... going to 1pm. In history of graphic design, our first assignment was called the landmark poster. For this assignment, each student was given the title of a major work that significantly influenced the world of design ("landmark"). I received the Proun Room (prounenraum) by El Lissitzky, 1923.
Requirements:
8.5" x 22"
Must include: name, instructor's name, RISD 2011
500-700 word essay
at least three book resources (cited on the poster)

New Project: Grimm's Fairy Tales
I'm working on a new project— I'm setting some of the Grimm's Fairy Tales in a hardcover book which breaks the boundaries of formal book layouts. First day in, thinking about a square book, or something towards a square book.
It might be around 150 pages or so.
Wish me luck!
The classic, "Hello World."
This is my first blog post on my new blog. Super stoked!
