"…That sounds like her. Azami." 

He’s only aware that he’s smiling when he sees the Medusa girl gape at him and he quickly adopts a more serious expression, coughing a little.

"I don’t want to know about her, per se. You’re just telling me things I already know. I just wanted to make sure about some of those facts." He purses his lips and leans back, appearing deep in thought, He seemed…oddly relaxed in this house.

"Her human husband…he was named Tsukihiko, correct? Ostracized by his fellow villagers for his appearance." He took in her white hair and pale red eyes, "As far as I know, he seemed normal enough. His condition was genetic, yet exerted no powers of his own. Your powers are based on Azami’s only. Like this guy’s", he indicated his…no, Konoha’s body, "And your friends."

✽} "Um, y-yes, his name was Tsukihiko a-and yes, he was....different from the other people in his village....mother said people from his village didn't like him because he was different and thought of him as a monster.. " She whispered before adding, "...W-well, not just him, other people always called us monsters..."

"B-but you seems to know much more than I am, s-so.." Somehow Mary had always thought that Kuroha knew a lot about her family and of course about the eye abilities she and her friends have.

"......Uh...h-how about you..? Since our powers are based on my grandmother's, are you also one of the powers that came within her..?"

Kuroha nods and enters, mumbling a greeting. The house…was more spacious than he thought it was. Her human husband put quite a lot of work in this place, it seemed. 

He looked back to her to see her shrinking away from him, appearing smaller than she usually was…and that was saying something, considering their height difference. He feels a tug of worry on his chest before he forces it down, frowning.

Konoha still kind of has a hold on his body, true, but he won’t allow him to interfere in his judgement.

"Mary-chan…how much do you know about your grandmother?"

✽} As the man took a step inside the house, Mary tried to distance herself with him, still not trusting him a little bit. Kuroha acting like this was a bit...strange for her, then again, all she knew about him all this time was the fact that he had killed her friends many times and being merciless about it.

Even so, since he could be considered as a 'guest' right now, She should treat him as one. The girl nervously offered him a seat as she then sat on the chair in the opposite of the other's

When the android asked her about her grandmother, she blinked, her grandmother? She herself didn't know much about her own grandmother but...

"M-my mother told me t-that my grandmother was a full medusa, s-she always told me how great grandmother was, sometimes she could act all harsh b-but she actually cared for her and for grandfather."

"....Although, she disappeared one day, leaving mother and grandfather behind...b-but grandmother didn't actually abandon mother and grandfather! S-she said it was to protected them both s-since humans attacked them the day when she left both of them..."

She then stopped, hesitating a bit. Her mother never told her everything about her grandmother, she often asked about where she was going that day but she never answered and saying how she was still too young to know 'the truth', then her mother died not long and Mary ended up not knowing the full story of her grandmother.

"........U-uh...why do you want to know about my grandmother...?"

"Yeah…just talk. No guns, see?" He holds out empty hands. Though in all honesty, he could just kill her with a snap of his fingers, gun or no gun. She was even weaker than Shintaro.

But he really felt there were things that needed to be discussed. And the ‘stuck in a loop’ thing was starting to wear on him, though he was the one who brought it all on. 

So for now. Just a talk. “Would you mind opening the door for me? I can’t exactly enter the house otherwise.”

✽} "U-uh...um...o-okay." She nodded and slowly walked towards the door, her body still shaking slightly. He said no guns, and he already proofed it to her, but can she really trust him...? What if he actually kept a gun somewhere else? But, even so, Mary was sure that even without using a gun, the dark android could just easily kill her with empty hand.

The girl then took out a key and used it to open the front, hesitantly looking up at Kuroha who already stood in front of her once again. The fact that the man was a lot taller than her made her even more nervous. She fidgeted a bit before speaking up in a very small voice.

"C--come in..."

"Ehhh? Now why would I do that?"

He smiles, even though his eyes are cold. He tilts his head to indicate his confusion, even though he knows exactly what he’s doing.

"Why would I leave you alone? There are things that must be talked about after all!" There are things he wanted to say to her. What happens next was of little consequence to him.

Not that he would kill her. He can’t, after all, he needed this Queen to live.

But there were things worse than Death. 

And those things…he had no qualms delivering.

"Mary-chan~why don’t you talk with me?"

✽} ....? Talk? Did she just hear him right? He actually...wanted to talk..? Even after countless of times where he wouldn't even listen to her pleas to stop before? .....She didn't know if she should actually have a talk with him or reject his offer, but who knows what will happen if she doesn't want to talk with him.

As much as she didn't like it, she...doesn't really have any choice left, she couldn't escape from her own house and she couldn't even call for help.

"....O..o-okay...w-we can talk....I g-guess.." The girl whispered, her voice shaking as she slowly looked down, at a time like this, Mary somehow felt angry at herself for being helpless, she was always being protected by the others to the point where she couldn't even protect herself or fight back.

"It’s no use, Mary-chan~"

“You can’t escape.” 

"So why don’t you do yourself a favor and face your fear, hm?" 

He looks up at her. He’s down by the window, blocking off her escape route. “You can’t run from me. Not while I’m in this body anyway.” Even if there were still some kinks to be worked out, Konoha’s body did wonders when he planned to attain his goals. 

And this time, he intended to have a proper showdown with this Queen.

"Face me."

✽} "N--no..." was all she could muttered out quietly, her small body trembled. How can she face him? If she could even described him, it would be something like a nightmare that just won't disappear. She hated it. She couldn't fight him, was he here to kill her after all..?

She had always thought on why he ended up not killing her long ago before she understood what was happening, but the thoughts of the man killing her was actually scary....but even so, if he would actually leave her friends alone...then she guessed it won't be too bad.

".....Why...w-why do you keep doing this..?....P-please...l...leave us alone..."

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

And she’s still giving him that same look. That same, scared terrified look that he’d learnt to associate with here. Despite her lineage, her powers, despite all of that, somewhat nullified by human blood it may be, she was always scared of him.

And just like he knew she would be, she was here.

She was never one to let go of the past.

Just look at her mother.

"Hello, Mary-chan~"

"It’s been a while, hasn’t it?"

✽} As if following on her instinct, Mary quickly shut the door and locked it. No..this couldn't be happening. Why was he here? What does he want? Wait....if he's here---what about everyone else? Are they okay? Was it too late?

The girl looked around, maybe she could get out without the man noticing her. She couldn't just stay here, she needed to make sure the others are okay. She continued to look for an alternate way to go out before running towards the window, quickly opening it. She stopped for a while.

Will this really be okay?

Will he notice?

...Will he eventually kills her too?

A lot of negative thoughts continue to ran through her mind, she couldn't move, she wanted to scream for help but there was no one here other than her and Kuroha outside.

✽} It surely had been a while since the last time she came back to her house inside the forest, but here she was, looking outside from the window, a cup of herb tea in her hand. She already asked for permission from the others to go here, it wasn't because of any problems, she just wanted to be here for a while....for some reasons--or more like, she missed her home.

The small girl slowly put down the cup on the table, she promised the others she would be back before it gets dark so she'd better hurry, but before that, there's one place she needed to be. Her mother's grave, it has been a while and she wanted to have a little chat with her mother. She then put on her coat and opened the door, only to faced with someone she didn't expect to be here.

It was Kuroha.

✽} "Ah! M-Momo-chan!" Mary's eyes brightened up upon seeing the idol, she quickly ran towards the other female as soon as she entered the base. "U-um, I've been wanting to ask you something, actually.." The smaller girl muttered out, her tone was a little bit unsure as she then continued, "W-will it be okay if I go with you sometimes..? F-for your work, I mean..uh..K-Kano told me that your workplace is an interesting place s-so I'm a little bit curious..."

✽} ".....! Ah, is that...?" Mary blinked as she watched someone not far from her, though the person looked a bit...confused. Mary noticed how the person would looked around from left to right, maybe this person got lost? Well, it was a common thing for people to get lost inside a forest after all, and it's not like there were a lot of people who lived in the forest.

Feeling like she could help somehow, the little girl walked towards the other, quietly tip-toeing as she was a lot shorter than the person--who she recognized as a girl as she got closer and tapped her shoulder.

"U-um....excuse me.."

✽} "!!" Mary let out a small gasp upon seeing the person in front of her, someone she didn't really want to see or meet in the least. She was about to run away, but then she thought that, maybe, maybe she could stop him this time. The other wasn't here with her so she didn't need to worry about everyone else's safety. The little girl tried to make herself look brave as she took a step forward.

"W-what are you doing here...?"
