Daily Makeup: 12/23/2016 Testing a new moisturizer with makeup to see if it will be okay for Christmas with my husband's parents. Got a bit shiny.

Daily Makeup: 12/18/2016 Now testing an eye cream and new moisturizer sample under makeup to see how it does. I will probably need the new eye cream in January, but I have enough moisturizer samples to probably last until February or March thanks to L'Occitane's employees at the store we go to here being very generous with their samples a couple of times. I am not sure if I am ready to commit to a $50 an up moisturizer, but if I actually see results from the samples, I may go there. Today's makeup saw me continue my efforts to use eye shadows from more than one palette; the two palettes were from the same brand, but still, I was happy to mix and match my eye shadows and come up with something I liked. I used the two grays from the quad and the dark blue from the duo. I also used the frosty pink as a brow bone highlight, but I applied it with the same brush that I applied the cream base color so it was not as stark or frosty. Since I am very pale always, sometimes I like making myself look tan, but when I am unable to, I like to make myself look even paler if possible, so I decided to use the brown stain on my lips in a sheer way.

Daily Makeup: 12/15/2016 Testing the moisturizer under the makeup and so far it seems to be working. I have had it on for nearly seven hours now and everything seems to be holding up well.

Daily Makeup: 12/13/2016 Trying out a new moisturizer sample so no face makeup today, but I did do lip products. I started by filling in the lips with the lip liner. I then toped with the lip stick which does not really give a color, but a golden glitter topper for whatever lip color you are working with. I then lined the lips on top of the glitter topper with the original lip liner to deepened up the edges of the lip look and to knock down the frosty appearance, it worked surprisingly well.

Mani Monday: 12/12/2016 This nail polish from Wet n Wild is rather thick and when applying the first coat it did appear to pull itself up whenever the brush went over a bit that had just been laid down. Fortunately with the second coat I was able to get it to appear more uniform, but it still involved a bit of work.

Night Makeup: 12/10/2016 Since I knew I wouldn't be asleep for a while I decided to do makeup. I did play with my false lashes for a while, but ended up removing them. The lashes I tried are the ones at the top along with the Kiss lash glue; I am not sure which lashes they are, but I received Kiss lashes and glue for free through Influenster, so they are most likely from there. Tonight's makeup is a very warm dramatic look for me, but I am enjoying it.

Mani Monday: 12/05/2016 This only required two coats to be full color.

Daily Makeup: 12/04/2016 Not much makeup today because during the chat with parents I learned my uncle passed away so I did not feel much able to do the makeup as planned.

Daily Makeup: 11/28/2016 What I had planned to do yesterday until yesterday didn't happen. But today will be a good day, I am determined to make it so. I used shadows from the pink column of the Claire's palette.

Night Makeup: 11/24/2016 Just something to play with.

Manicure: 11/23/2016 This manicure took two tries to get it right and then an hour later the right middle finger got smudged, which surprised me because the previous experiences with the NYC top coat had no smudges after a few minutes. I am not sure if it is because of the type of polish the color coat is or some other unknown factor.

Daily Makeup: 11/20/2016 Chat with parents makeup. More success with the Oval makeup brush today and I found out my mom really liked a liquid lip stick I gave her while she was here so I will be sending her another one in a color she also liked.

Daily Makeup: 11/17/2016 The two The Color Workshop lip sticks. I layered the bright red one over the orange red one to get a color that was less orange and not quite as bright. Night Makeup: 11/17/2016 We went to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them and I wanted a lip product on, but one that would not smear off when I ended up crying and needed to blow my nose (I get very emotionally invested in movies), so I went with Wet n Wild Fergie Vicious Varnish Highshine Lip Stain in Voguing Madness because once it has had a chance to really stain the lips, the color does not move even once the shine has worn off. The next day I was still seeing bright pink on my lips.

Night Makeup: 11/13/2016 Trying out a smaller oval brush with the foundation and it was much easier to work with. I will practice again with the larger brush to see if I can get that to work out for me.
