A pinch hitter is somebody who in the case somebody has dropped or had failed to post their piece, takes over for that piece to guarantee all contributors get their gifts. I didn't realise a draft would have to be provided for the check in - I've handwritten my draft, what do I do? It'll take me a couple of days to type it up properly

This may seem like a silly question , but I’ve never done an event like this before, how do we do the check-ins?
No question is silly! Check-ins are a way for me to check on your progress and to make sure you’re on track. When April 1st rolls around, you will be given a form and all you have to do is answer some questions and provide proof that you’ve been giving any thought to your assignment (sketches, outline, etc. I’ll take almost anything). It shouldn’t take any more than 3 minutes to fill out. I hope that answers your question!-Mod Rosie

hi!! what do you mean by all works will be based off of a flower? does that mean our work has to be flower related or is it simply a label? thank you!!!
Hi! In the future please direct your questions about the exchange to the blog, thank you! For your question, basically. when you sign up you request a flower of your choice, it can be your favorite flower or a flower with a nice meaning, and your gifter will create your gift based off of that flower (whether it be fic, art, etc.). You will also be assigned a flower and will do the same. You can do whatever you want, write a fic based off of the meaning of that flower, or draw art that includes the flowers. As long as the flower that has been requested is somehow in it, that’s basically the meaning of having your work based off of a flower. Hope that helps!-Mod Rosie
