The Red String of Fate is an East Asian myth where the gods tie an invisible red cord around the ankles or little fingers of those that are destined to meet one another in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This myth is similar to the Western concept of soulmate or a destined flame.

To be honest - I’m not entirely sure what I’m doing here. I’m fairly new to the site.

Rather hesitant to join the tumblr community due to my crippling self-consciousness in regards to writing. . but some close friends managed to talk me into it. So, here we go. I’m looking forward to our future endeavors.
