By the time he'd been able to reach the grounds which the festival was being held, few booths remained and what was left of all the fun had slowly started to dissipate. People slowly packing up their things and taking down colorful banners, prizes that went without being won are taken away as well. It's a sad sight as it becomes apparent that he's much too late to take part in the festivities. Maybe if he'd gotten here earlier.

All that's left are very few people scattered along the shoreline, along with someone that appeared to be...making a sandcastle? It seems like such a waste to come all this way for nothing and so Laphicet settles on approaching them. "Are you building a sandcastle?"

"And maybe...do you need help? I can help."

Somehow he'd gotten sidetracked from finding Velvet. With nothing but a shoddily drawn map to help him find his way and the names of a few places on where he could expect to find her, he'd somehow made his way into Cotes. The cherry blossoms, of course, proved to be a good distraction from his primary objective. He crouches down, sifting through the hundreds of petals that had fallen in search of whole flowers that had made their way to the ground. There weren't many, but the few he did find were acceptable in terms of quality. They hadn't been trampled over or bruised and so when he gathers all that he's satisfied with, he dusts himself off and gets to his feet.

But then he sees her. It feels like something out of a dream, honestly, like she's some type of flower goddess. "Oh...uh." He's staring, he shouldn't be.

"Sorry, you're just...pretty." That's one way to compliment someone. “Are you a fairy...?”

"They won't let me in..." He huffs, clearly frustrated at being barred entrance. Really, all he had wanted to do was see what the entire place was about! But there they were saying that he wasn't old enough and to 'try again in a few years' the nerve of them!

"Miss, what's a casino? And why won't they let me in? It's just a big fancy building with lights, right? I wanted to see if someone I knew was inside..."

Laphicet, Tales of Berseria

A young Malakhim who is first introduced as having no free will of his own and no purpose in life other than to serve his exorcist masters. Throughout his journey ( and thanks to Velvet Crowe ) he is able to see how the world works and how he is able to fit into it. He is initially shown to be shy, never talking unless it's through gestures or head nods, but as the story progresses he gains a will and personality of his own and even becomes curious about a variety of things.

10 years old, no really he’s like 10 years old..please look after him.

He comes as a package deal with Velvet, if you don't like her then he probably won't be getting too close to you. The same token as if you are mean to Velvet, he won’t like you either.

Really likes bugs, will probably end up collecting them at some point. Do you like bugs? Show him some beetles.

Naive, as is appropriate for his age. Please don't expose him to anything that children shouldn't be seeing...thank you.
