#Mälaren

#Mälaren is an up-and-coming four-piece band hailing all the way from the east coast of Sweden. Their debut album OBS! is set to drop fairly soon. The lead vocals and guitar are headed by Joakaim, who also does pretty much everything else. Then with the groovy beats and online presence we've got Jens on the bass and backup vocals. Next is Sven Svensson who not only plays the drums, but also is the band's manager, PR representative, and stylist (though this is contested by Joakaim). Finally, rounding out the band is Christina who always has her tap shoes on and manages to bring in three classic instruments to the group - keyboard, xylophone, and single drum. Can you believe it’s been five years to the day since we formed #Mälaren? It’s been a bit hard to record, with the band living in four cities across two continents, but OBS! is definitely on its way!
