Well I was told I couldn’t have kids, so I think miracle fits.

Noel hugged Malcolm tightly she was even more excited for him than she was for herself. The world obviously knew that he was meant to be a dad and gave them a miracle. The more she thought about it the more happiness she felt and it didn’t take long before she completely lost it with tears of joy. She was going to be a mom a lot sooner than she expected and she was going to get to experience being pregnant. “I love you so much too, so so much.” Noel pulled back and wiped away some of the tears from her eyes before she wiped away his tears as well then she leaned in and gently kissed him with so much love behind her kiss. “I cannot wait to meet our little boy or little girl.”

As he returned the kiss he pulled her closer, smiling at her words. “Either way, I’m going to love him or her more than anything. Well, not as much as I love you of course. I hope Zero will like having someone else around.” Malcolm grinned, glancing over at their dog lazily sleeping in his bed. “I think he may get a little jealous at first, considering he is the first child we ever had.” He joked before looking back at Noel. “You make my dreams come true.”

The silence made her nervous. Was he not happy? Was this going to stress him out even more then he already had been? Finally the silence was broken she knew this must have been hard for him to believe a doctor but by some miracle they had been blessed with a child. “Yes, I’m pregnant. I wouldn’t joke around about something like this.” Noel could see that Malcolm’s eyes were watering when she looked at him and she wrapped her arms around him to hug him. “You’re going to be a dad. And you’re going to be an amazing dad.” Noel couldn’t hold back the tears that were forming in her eyes. Words could not describe how happy she was. She couldn’t wait to tell everyone.

Malcolm wrapped his arms around her tightly, still in complete shock. He wasn’t supposed to be able to have kids, he was told this years ago. Maybe it was some sort of miracle, he didn’t know. But he couldn’t stop the happiness he was feeling.  “We’re having a baby... Well, you’re having the baby but we’re going to be parents. To a baby that is biologically ours. This is really happening.” He pulled away to look at her, a smile on his face. “I love you so much.”

Noel wasn’t exactly sure how to tell him. She had been so excited she didn’t even think about how she was going to tell him. Maybe she should tell him later, but she had already distracted him from what he was working on. She knew he was under a lot of pressure right now trying to come up with new ideas while trying to adopt a baby on top of that. She stepped into the room and sat on their bed next to her fiancé then she slipped her hand in his. “It’s not a stomach bug…” She began before stopping for a moment, she thought it was best to just say it. “I know this is going to sound crazy I swear it’s true. I’m pregnant.”

Malcolm raised an eyebrow when she said it wasn’t a stomach bug, about to ask what it could be when it felt like his heart stopped. Her words seemed to play on repeat in his head as he started straight at her, not even noticing how his eyes started to water. “You’re pregnant?” He finally managed, still staring at her in disbelief as his hand was holding onto her’s tightly to make sure this wasn’t some dream- one he has had plenty of times before- and that it was real.

I keep getting this feeling that I’ve been given too much good karma and it’s going to come back to bite me in the ass soon.

Our Little Miracle || Noel & Malcolm

Noel had just gotten back from the doctor still in shock from the news she had just gotten. For the past few days she had been feeling sick in the morning. She thought nothing of it she had only gone to the doctor to see if he could give her something for the sickness. But after running some tests Noel was shocked to hear from the doctor that she was pregnant. This was impossible, a doctor told Malcolm he couldn’t have kids. It was a miracle. She had wanted this so badly and she had accepted a long time ago that she’d never get to experience this. She couldn’t wait to get home and tell her fiancé. When she got up to the apartment she walked in placing her bag on the table before walking into their bedroom. “Baby? I need to talk to you about something”

Malcolm was in their room, looking up more adoption information while simultaneously jotting down new animation ideas. He’d already had two really take off, and now studios were wanting more from him. But with everything happening with the adoption, it was hard to make something lighthearted for kids to enjoy. He looked up from his laptop when he heard Noel, adjusting the glasses on his face. “Hey, what’s up?” The dark haired male asked, closing his laptop to give her his full attention. “Is everything okay? What did the doctor say about you being sick? Is it just some stomach bug?”

Seriously. But I don’t mind waiting. As frustrating as it is, it’ll be well worth the wait. And we’ll be married by the time we get our baby.

It’s very frustrating. We both have great backgrounds, I don;t know what the issue is. True, we will be.
