my heart still thumps as I bleed | jordan + dexter

Jordan Chase has always been a bit of a paradox stuck inside a human being.. He loved to give speeches to people on how to live their best lives yet he delighted in taking said people's lives. 

The thing about Jordan Chase was that he got off on the fear he inspired in people. Nothing made him feel more alive than this. The sound of someone's life running out. Tick tick tick. The sound that not only made his victims cower in fear also gave him an incredible rush. However, his killing has become a bit more personal lately. Especially with Dexter Morgan hot on his trail. Jordan wasn't dumb. He knew damn well who Dexter really was and what he was capable of. In fact part of Jordan admired him for it.. 

Jordan found himself sitting in the lobby of the Miami-Dade police office waiting for Dexter to give him a buccal swab. He couldn't lie part of this whole situation was really exciting for him. Dexter, was after all, his equal. There was always an extra element in the air when he was around him.
