Look what I found at the bottom of my Mythcraft SMP draw, the original test I did for Kit's scythe in the Server fight animation. Never did include this shot idea in the final animation tho.

Animatic Draft for Mythcraft SMP. I started this for Jester's return but didn't end up finishing it in time for that now it sits here in the sad WIP comic bin. Pretty sure we did the voiced lines for this and everything. maybe I'll come back to it some day.

Lore context under the cut:

After playing PR for Server for ages (to mixed and hilarious results) and essentially working for the god, Server instructed Kit to kill Jasper. Suggesting that doing so would give her own daughter Aspen another life or at least even the playing field given the children had two lives each. Server basically said "Consider: it would be mad funny." Kit refused to kill a child, drawing that single line in the sand. Before this she'd quite happily tortured and killed others with Server's support. The gold knife Kit uses in this fight was gifted to her by Edgarr, the bird seen in the flashback memory briefly by Server. (It's a long story but TLDR Edgarr was a part of Server that was split from the god and represented all his good potential. Kit befriended Edgarr and considered him her own hope for redemption. It didn't end well. RIP Edgarr). The knife is capable of injuring Server, but Kit doesn't have the ability to actually kill him. Something she's aware of but you gotta try regardless. This knife comes back into play in the final animatic for the server I made where it's given to Jem who can better use it: https://youtu.be/rd1W4O7N4-M And finally the scene ends with Server reaching into Kit's code to "repair" it. Been a while and I completely forgot to share some art I did of an interaction during the VCiv minecraft event.

Been messing with Blender again for 2D animation. It's going as well as a twelve car pile up on fire, but I think I'm in too deep to back out now.

The character design I think I'll use for a Emerald Nuzlocke. Might see about making her a PNG tuber or a 3/4 vtuber model. Whichever hurts me more I guess.
