whumpy sam & frodo lines from the books
Frodo swayed, clutching at Sam’s arm.
"My master is sick and wounded,” said Sam angrily. “He can’t go on riding after nightfall. He needs rest.”
"I had to choose, Mr. Frodo. I had to come with you.”
"I’m glad, Sam. I cannot tell you how glad. Come along! It is plain that we were meant to go together."
"Come on, Mr. Frodo!” Sam whispered. “One more crawl, and then you can lie still.”
Sam unclasped his grey cloak and cast it about Frodo’s shoulders.
“Not till you’ve had a mouthful, Sam,” said Frodo. “I won’t budge. Here, take this elven-cake, and drink that last drop in your bottle!”
"Try a bit further, Mr. Frodo, and then we’ll lie close and have a rest.”
"You sleep for a bit Sam and take my blanket. I’ll walk up and down on sentry for a while."
Sam struggled with his own weariness, and he took Frodo’s hand.
Frodo said nothing but took Sam’s hand and pressed it.
Sam put his ragged orc-cloak under his master’s head, and covered them both with the grey robe of Lórien.
His love for Frodo rose above all other thoughts, and forgetting his peril he cried aloud: “I’m coming, Mr. Frodo!”
'It’s Sam, I’ve come!” He half lifted his master and hugged him to his breast. "It's real. It's me. I've come."
He kissed Frodo’s forehead.
"I’ll carry Mr. Frodo up myself, if it breaks my back and heart.”
'Help me, Sam! Help me, Sam! Hold my hand! I can’t stop it.”
Sam took his master’s hands and laid them together, palm to palm, and kissed them; and then he held them gently between his own.
“Come on, Mr. Frodo dear! Sam will give you a ride. Just tell him where to go, and he’ll go.”
Elrond: “Do you still hold to your word, Frodo, that you will be the Ring-bearer?"
"I do,” said Frodo. “I will go with Sam.”

working on a new frodo artwork :)
I don't know what this is from, but I thought it was Sam and Frodo.
“...but he saw his master's face very clearly... He was reminded suddenly of Frodo as he had lain, asleep in the house of Elrond, after his deathly wound. Then as he had kept watch Sam had noticed that at times a light seemed to be shining faintly within; but now the light was even clearer and stronger. Frodo's face was peaceful, the marks of fear and care had left it; but it looked old, old and beautiful, as if the chiselling of the shaking years was now revealed in fine lines that had before been hidden, though the identity of the face was not changed. Not that Sam Gamgee put it that way to himself. He shook his head, as if finding words useless, and murmured: ‘I love him. He's like that, and sometimes it shines through, somehow. But I love him, whether or no.’ ” — The Two Towers by J. R. R. Tolkien
sam is like that, and sometimes it shines through, somehow. but i love him, whether gay or no.
Sam’s Vision on Orodruin
.
Based off the chapter Mount Doom in The Return of the King, where Sam sees Frodo in a last desperate attempt to keep Gollum away, as a white robed figure with a wheel of fire at his breast. This moment felt poignant to me, and I wish it was found in Peter Jackson’s film
