Just what is this place, anyway?
This is a developmental blog for the queer fantasy/mystery/romance novel currently under the working title “Mallory, Just Mallory.” Here we hope to share the concept of our story, elements of the world, information about the main characters, creature designs, and various other things of that nature. We’ll try to avoid sharing major spoiler elements as best we can while still grabbing your interest!
There are a lot of elements to this story that touch a lot of various aspects of our lives, and is very much a long labor of love. A fair amount of the conflict is brought about from out experiences as existing as queer individuals in the United States, or more generally existing as people that are generally perceived as being “different” from the accepted norm, keeping in mind both the modern and historical context attached to that.
That being said, there will be a few important warnings to this story that readers should keep in mind before engaging, and those warnings will be listed appropriately.
Brace yourself and proceed with an open heart, but know Kissar is not far from home.
We are not sure of what our publishing goals are at this point in time, so until that is determined no writing excerpts (except for possibly short snippets) will be shared online.
