i cannot believe i never shared this (i love this show)

yet another yandere self-insert mc design, this time for everyone's favorite super tall self aware video game love interest

i love using pink as a main color for these self insert mcs (despite being overwhelmingly purple as a vtuber, pink is my favorite color) and the hard part is always figuring out how much to add, how to balance it, where to place it, etc. it's fun to try and make the characters look distinct from one another while using the same limited palette that connects to me (like, i COULD just draw myself with sol or ren or whoever, but that's way less fun!)

mc is kind of in a style crisis. she can't figure out how to interpret all the styles she likes into one cohesive look so she dresses a bit mishmash-y (hence the wildly different jacket)

she bought the angel hairclip at a roadside stand during a college-age road trip. it spoke to her in a way she couldn't put her finger on; since then, she's looked for more fashionable things with angel wings.

mc is also in a career crisis. she hadn't had plans for working in a library long term; she enjoys the job and her coworkers, but she can't help but feel like a failure for where she is in life. she's generally pretty positive about herself, so these negative feelings are ones she's not used to processing.

mc generally isn't overtly anxious but she is shy and hesitant to have deep conversation. she also struggles with strong relationships and does not like to talk about her past or her family. thinking about her past makes her depressed, so depressed she

she 100% has a (small) haruto itabag.

ren is showing up at a very vulnerable time in her life; had he shown up even a year prior or later, things would turn out very differently. will this work to their advantage? who knows!

after meeting ren, mc starts to wonder if she's having vision issues. by day 3, she is mulling over calling an eye doctor for an appointment.

WE HIT 500 LIL LAMBINGTONS ON TWITCH!!! thank you SOOOOO much for following me and sticking with me all this time!! in the words of a certain organism made of evil and hot gas, "i didn't think i'd make it this far." i'm a-shocked! as promised, the karaoke streem will happen. i want to poll everyone on what day of the week would be best….. this'll be my biggest hootenanny since my one year anniversary subathon, so please look forward to it!!

2024 really was the year of "collecting fictional men like pokemon cards", i played SO many good games with fictional men this year. this isn't even all of em, this is just where i wanted to be done with this lmfao
