Welcome to the bayou, child! My name is Mama Lia and I am well versed in the ways of voodoo. But don't be afraid! I'm not one put put curses on people. Unless, of course, you anger the dark spirits. ((This is an independent RP account/Ask blog for Witchdoctor!Fem!America. She has voodoo powers (see powers page) that can be used on other. HOWEVER, I will never ever use anything on another character without direct permission from that character's mun in either a message or fan mail. Most of my knowledge of voodoo is coming from "The Princess and the Frog" and the internet. I will most likely be wrong about things. One last thing: she has a thick cajun accent. Since that is hard for me to replicate with text, I will type in a way that you as an RPer can understand. "That is quite fine, child." Mama Lia said, "May I ask where you are from?"

"Oh, hello!" Ivy said, not expecting to meet someone in this strange place. “I think I may have gotten lost. I’m not used to new places like this." She smiled. “Umm, my name is Tuvalu, but you can call me Ivy.."

"You may call me Mama Lia." She said, “And you are welcome to stay as long as you wish."

"It’s nice to meet you Mama Lia." Ivy replied gratefully. “If you do not mind..where am I exactly? I’m afraid I’m not familiar with this place at all."

Ivan looked at her confused. He didn’t have a mate let alone a child.

"That is all the cards have to tell me." Mama Lia said, “I hope I have helped you. They can be very cryptic at times."

Mama Lia nodded. "I'm sure you will." she said, "But for now.... You must wait until the answer reveals itself."

Mama Lia made a gesture towards a broom, and it began to sweep on it’s own. She looked at him for the first time. Her eyes were completely white. “Well, you better start believing because it’s as real as you and me."

Gilbert very nearly jumped as the broom started moving. “How are you doing that? Do you have some invisible string attached to that? What’s your secret?" He’s not buying it yet, and probably won’t be easily convinced.

"Why don't you see your yourself." Mama Lia said. "I can assure you that it is no parlor trick."

"Let’s do this."

"There will be a total of six cards." she said, “I will tell you what they mean as I get there. First, this is how you feel about yourself right now."

“You feel everything is a constant battle at the moment, but persevere and you will triumph in the end. Expect some good news that will help you to keep going until you achieve your goals. Youngzheng listens to her read. It seems like a damn good card to him, and he likes the way it sounds. It’s pretty accurate too.

"Seems like a pretty good one to me."
