Just got tagged on this transparent scam attempt, and you know, it's almost cute with how ridiculously obvious it is. (Although, I assume that's AI that they used to make their little logos, which is honestly the part I'm most mad about.)

Anyway, if you didn't already know, tumblr staff are never going to contact you via a reply to a post, of all things, so you can safely report and block these scammers without worrying about "your standing in global discovery feeds."

The scam also references a "shadow-state," and tumblr has stated time and again that they don't shadow ban. If your posts aren't getting notes, it's probably your content/tags or else you've turned off the setting that allows your blog to be indexed, not tumblr nefariously interfering.
