Walking up to the scientist's desk, he leaned against it before speaking. "Are you made of Nickel, Cerium, Arsenic and Sulfur? Because you've got a NiCe AsS." he winked, surely hoping he'd get himself a date.
The younger scientist stared at her superior blankly for a moment, completely oblivious to the joke’s meaning before it finally clicked. Once it had, she covered her mouth with her hand and began to giggle, eyes scrunching shut as she smiled.
"Well, if that’s what I’m made of, then you must be made of copper and tellurium—because you’re CuTe!" she practically chirped back.
Chuckling, he shook his head already knowing that information.
"I knew I was attractive, no one has ever said I was cute though." he smiled, making sure to stand up properly instead of leaning on her desk, and made sure to move any papers he might have moved.
"You’re very attractive yourself you know, and probably smarter than the rest of us here. I’d love to hang out sometime."
"Smarter than--oh, no! No. Please don't say that. Everyone has their strengths!"
She reached out and grasped onto the other scientist's sleeve, before realizing that it may be too forward a motion. Cheeks flushed with embarrassment, she released it once more, and fidgeted nervously.
"If it weren't for the efforts of everyone... we wouldn't be where we are today."
