It was true: his Third Eye’s only purpose was to foretell future events. Besides, even if he physically had an extra eye he would still be too lazy to double– no, triple check the candy’s flavour.

   Wow… imagine actually having an eye in the middle of your head. How weird would that be? Members of the Illuminati probably have those… EW. What a horrifying thought. Hagakure will gladly keep his spiritual eye, thank you.

   “Hmmngh…” The hand is retracted from within the snack bag, fingers holding several chips in his grip like human chopsticks. “Sour stuff’s gross though… apple sounds better, and it’s not gonna murder me!”

            Hiroko cracked a smile when he protested, sticking his hand into the bag of chips. She probably didn’t get it. Well, not at all, really. But, he enjoyed it. Ever since he was little... So, all she could do is do her best and support his weird hobbies and job as best she could. She set the bag of chips down on the table, opening facing her. 

            “Guess y’got a point. Can’t kill a cockroach that easy, can ya?“ She joked, sticking her fingers into the bag and pulling out a chip, biting it in half. “Even so, jus’ be careful, ‘kay? No more takin’ random candy from random strangers y’meet on the street.”

let me just say

hiroko doesnt really like mother’s day. sure, she doesnt mind the gifts or whatever but honestly she hates the idea that there’s only one day a year where someone would literally go out of their way to say “hey thanks for carrying a fucking human being in your stomach for nine months, and do your best to make it a decent human being”. she’s managed this long on her own, and in her eyes, she doesnt need someone’s poor and forced “thank you for everything you do being a mom is so hard here have a shitty card and a bath bomb”
