im pretty sure Jake was gaining trust and he got attached to Sherry so fast, from the files of re 6 it says he was moody and distant, while fighting the big b.o.w in chapter one, he randomly said 'Thanks for volunteering me for the job babe.' ik it was sarcasm but WHAT, and when playing as jake in chapter 3 there was a machine gun with a camera and he said 'Im coming for you Sherry.' Oh man he literally loved Sherry from the start
