There are multiple things to talk about here. First: I don't hate the Spiral, I just don't get the big deal about fractals. Second: is it really yaoi if both beings involved are genderless cosmic entities with no clear boundaries between any of them?

Um ACTUALLY worms are amazing. Do you have any idea how unlikely it is that life just happened to evolve that way? Every! Single! Living! Thing! is made up of a network of incredibly complicated chemical reactions that I bet you don't understand. A fractal is just a design. They're pretty, sure, but not actually useful, at least not like worms are. Earthworms are vital to maintaining soil health, and for your information, my worms eat flesh, not dirt. ~ ~ ~ Also, what's so scary about fractals? It's a pattern. Now, worms on the other hand...maggots, decay...that scares people.

how unlikely is it for creatures managing to evolve into cylinders? well clearly it isn’t that unlikely, seeing as we have them. like i said. dirt-eating (or in your case, flesh-eating) cylinders. that’s all they are. but fractals? they are shapes containing detailed structure at such a small scale it’s almost arbitrary, and they’re just natural! also, your fear patron is the one that’s constantly scoffed at. bugs and mold, so scary. insanity? madness? that’s the real stuff.
