Mini review! 📖 Synopsis: Our main character, Lucy, lives with her father, aunt, and cousin. Her aunt goes missing and her cousin slowly loses her sanity and claims she can hear her mother's voice coming from inside the walls. Lucy is devastated by these events but then suddenly she starts hearing voices coming from the walls as well. That is really all you need to know going in to this novel and if that little tid bit gives you chills, pick this up! 📖 Thoughts: The Women in the Walls was a delightfully creepy read. I am not a huge fan of horror but I do like to dip my toes in the genre every once in awhile. This book kept me guessing the whole time. If you are a huge horror fan I would suggest giving this one a pass because I can see how you would be able to predict the twists and turns in this book. If you are like me and read or watch horro rarely than I would highly recommend giving this novel a shot. Our main character and her family are deeply disturbed and did I mention they live in a creepy as hell old mansion? The author does a fantastic job creating a dark and mysterious atmosphere. I would go in to this knowing the bare minimum because it's more fun (and terrifying) that way. 📖 Rating: 4 chilling 🌟's! #bookreview #minireview
