Oh we aren’t on the trip. Because they were mystery lodging at the time we thought it better to not risk potentially having a two month old in a tent with no electric. We are quite enjoying our staycation in town and have gotten away to a bed and breakfast while Kit’s parents watched Archer. Which was nice.

Hi, Miranda. Lovely to meet you. I rolled in on the 4th of July, so almost a month now. It feels like it’s been forever though! How time flies. Are you on the trip or did you stay in Bayview?
I stayed in Bayview, I've a eight month old so I didn't really see the point in going when it was just going to upend her routine. What about you?

Family friendly anything is a lie! Seriously, when you have a child and try to go somewhere, child friendly usually means, ‘You can come but it makes it damn hard to do anything’. I’ve been there with friends and family who’ve had kids, there’s no point in putting her out of routine really.
I don’t know about that? Lots of people have kids in town and go on these trips and seem to have just as much fun and do things as anyone else? Can understand not wanting to change her routine though, since they’re so hard to get into.

You know what I don’t understand? People who don’t like ice cream. What’s not to love about ice cream? Especially in the summer. It’s a crime against humanity to dislike ice cream and I don’t know if I could trust someone who doesn’t. Anyway, I’m only talking about ice cream because I remembered there’s that ice cream party tomorrow. Which of my fellow ice cream enthusiasts will be accompanying me on an ice cream eating expedition?

Probably the beach and all the foodtrucks in The Village. There’s some parts I have yet to discover.
The beach is lovely, and you can’t go wrong with food trucks!

Oh that four hour stretch can feel like a full night, can’t it! The constant milk supply can be a pain in the arse but once you get into the routine of it, it’s much easier. Sometimes using the front carrier and an easy access top can be a godsend when out.
It can! It can very much feel like a full night after some limited to no sleep. Thankfully I’ve been doing pretty well as far as making sure to pump and get into a routine so that I can peacefully sleep when we’re able to. Are you going to be going on the trip with everyone that’s coming up?

I have a list of scary but exciting things I wanna do in life and this Summer I crossed “moving to a new place” and “releasing my debut single”. I’ll let you guess which one of those things was the scariest. But now I’m curious. Do you have a bucket list, too? Or is there a scary but exciting thing you’ve been dreaming of doing? Whisper (bottom pic) is so much more independent and will take her self off and be by herself.

my plan for the day was to go out and get a workout done, all ready for the weekend and what not. then i accidentally jogged past sweet tooth and they had a new kind of cake and now… i’m eating cake in the park instead. hm. don’t they say it’s the thought that counts? right? right? @townofbayview
