Brooke wouldn’t be the first person to think he didn’t look like the skinning women type. He’d heard it from multiple people, mostly in whispers and murmurs that he wasn’t meant to hear. Even Sister Jude had given in a bit and called him a doe-eyed James Dean copycat. It wasn’t an admission of his innocence by any means, but it gave him hope that not everyone thought he was bad. Kit just wished that he could prove to them all that he was innocent, that he’d done nothing wrong to deserve all of this, that the little green men he’d seen were real. But no one wanted to hear that from him. They just wanted to gossip and think he’d never hear any of it, though word traveled fast in a place like this and it was hard to ignore it when your name’s in everyone’s mouth. He made a point to step on the cigarette that had hit the floor, grinding it out with the toe of his shoe. “Understandably so. This place can do a number on ya.” He said coolly, knowing the exact feeling. Kit hated this place, more than he’d ever hated anything in his life, and he hated that damned Dr. Arden the most. He didn’t believe in the little green men, no, he believed that Kit was some kind of spy. What bullshit. Reaching into the pocket of his shirt, Kit grabbed his book of matches and took one out, striking it against the pack and holding it up to the end of the cigarette to light it. “’Course. Match is the least I can do, I’m sorry about that,” He said with a gentle smile. “Hope I didn’t shake ya up too much.”

she’s jovial , at the most , she’s got these sunglasses & they literally almost label her , what she’s about , of course . someone like montana duke exudes sex appeal , however , looking over at the man that greeted her , she tilts her head . at the most ; she seems highly interested in him – not that she’s expecting anything , in fact .

It had been a while since Kit had gotten out of Briarcliff, and yet he’d still gone back to the same job he’d had before. It was like everything had gone back to normal - almost. What wasn’t normal, and what bothered him the most, was the fact that those were years of his life he’d never get back. He’d been twenty-five upon his involuntary commitment to Briarcliff, and he was thirty-two now. Those years locked away from the rest of the world would haunt him for the rest of his life. He just can’t stop thinking about it, being back in this place like his life is normal again.

A smile spread across his lips, though, as he pulled himself from his thoughts and turned his attention to the blonde haired woman. “Camp, huh?” He asked, brows raising. “Aren’t you all a little old for camp?” He teased, leaning against the gas pump, unable to stop looking at her with that charming smile of his. “Well, I can offer you a few candy bars and some potato chips, but that’s about all I’ve got that’s edible, unfortunately.”
