since game grumps finally uploaded their first episode of minish cap, it made me wanna pick up my minish cap manga n finally read it!! heres a couple simple panels of link that i liked

if you havent read kirby manga mania i HIGHLY recommend it purely for its over-the-top anime style and general weirdness. this panel is super cute but i promise i have more panels from this manga that are....... questionable

fun fact #1: this panel took me four hours to complete fun fact #2: it was a last minute decision to superimpose a png of the actual faris card to the panel bc i reaaaally did not feel like drawing faris TWICE im a hero user myself, and i feel like the masked and vision heroes are definitely slept on. especially with their designs, theyre so frickin cool. another one of my hobbies is building model kits, and ive built the blue eyes white dragon and the millenium puzzle kits. if they made kits of any of the heros i think i would die (from excitement) (in minecraft)

these are much more recent than the zelda and splatoon panels, so i still have all the original files. isnt it nice when you still have your art files??? lmao

blue trunks version underneath the cut (bc i cant decide if blue teen trunks or purple teen trunks is better)

returned to relining the entire panel before coloring, and i think it overall looks better, but i also miss keeping the original screentones and linework of the panel. maybe i can use this as an excuse to finally learn csp's screentoning tools lmao

long ago, in the distant time of 2023, i had actually a big collection of loz four swords manga panels that i had taken photos of, relined, colored, and made all nice and shiny. unfortunately, the laptop i had drawn those on DIED, and the only remnant of the 10+ panel collection i have is this zoomed in screenshot of link doing a :3 face.

i know ive sent these panels i did in a gc somewhere, and maybe one day i can recover them. but for now, enjoy :3 link

the shape of the speech bubbles in these panels made this a NIGHTMARE to color, as im sure you can see, especially in the one on the left where it overlaps with his hair. trying to line colors up properly while using layer effects to color on top of pure blocks of black is suuuper tricky and i definitely just winged it lol also IM SORRY if you followed me for dmc content specifically bc of the last post but i am currently on a yugioh craze and have been reading the gx manga so youre going to see a LOT of that as i continue posting!!!
