Can we talk about how Mercer ordering the soldiers to gun down the Sarentu students and Alma locking them away with no plans to return leads to essentially the same result? The swept-under-the-rug secrecy of TAP and metaphorical burial of the Sarentu? And how that perfectly encapsulates the differences between the two of them and the ways they exert control and ownership over the group? Mercer outwardly tries to kill them, Alma claims to save them, and yet the results are damn near the same. Both of their methods leading to the erasure of an entire group of people.

#Honestly despise how much the game pushed us to forgive/tolerate Alma #Nor’s hatred for her grows to be more and more understandable as you dive deeper into her character #Hate how characters who are so keen on justice and owning up to mistakes like Etuwa or So’lek or even Nesim or Ka’nat never even uttered a #word to Alma about what she had done and how she tried so hard to avoid what she had done #every time i heard her voice over the comms all teary and apologetic i physically rolled my eyes so hard i got a headache #like get off the floor #you look stupid
