so the pa bat rescue recently lost an eastern red bat named cannoli. she was grounded and then abused by a bunch of children. they kicked her around on the ground and caused severe injuries to which she eventually succumbed. i cant seem to get over it. the lack of empathy you’d need to have to see a creature suffering and think “I can make this worse”. I know there are so many more important things going on but like. they killed her.
