What on earth IS that rainbow-y horror worm thing?
BOBBIT WORMS!!!
Pretty little polychaetes who bury their several-metre-long bodies in the ground and wait until something brushes up against one of their antennae. They then snap their venomous mandibles shut so fast they sometimes scissor their prey right in half
Anyway, don’t step on one!
A full rework of the Gatorclaw! Or Carnodile as I like to call them, since they do jack shit with their tiny nubby claws in-game. I did a take on it a while back, but I felt like it needed more of a chameleon balance involved, since it’s a splice and all So! There’s a lot of research and studies involved, which the dev team obviously didn’t do- Its main features are a mix of both chameleon and alligator, featuring webbed claws and the opposable grabbing fused-digit effect of chameleon, so it can climb trees and fences alike. Its eyes and nose are atop its head so it can lurk in the water, and its tail features both rudder spikes and a prehensile tip for arboreal Activities. It’s built for mauling and heavy predation, so I decided not to add the Murder Tongue, which also cut out the need for rotate orb eyes. The horns in any extent were a mandatory addition since Jackson’s chameleons have impressive face prongs, and a pox upon whoever thought it was a good idea to remove them altogether from the base design.
This is a plant from the genus Trachyandra, specifically known as a Crassula succulent. They are mostly found throughout southern Africa and Madagascar.
I am reblogging so I can look into this more closely. Because 1. That looks kind of like polymer clay; and 2. Crassula is a genus of succulent, containing over 1400 species of plant, and I’m on mobile.
I can never tell if succulents I haven’t seen are real or not because all succulents look fake in the first place
Here to tell you HAPPILY cause i love these plants that they are in fact real BUT the actual name of the plant is Trachyandra tortilis! They also come in a flat leaf version with curled or wavy leaves!!
These are delightful i need twenty
