Cindy: Why would you say this to me?
Cindy: I'm spiraling now. Withering away. Goodbye cruel world

She said his real name and his eyes widened at her seriousness. It reminded him of the way Aunt May said it, using his full name when she was upset with him. Weird, Peter, weird. Don’t think about Aunt May and Cindy in the same thought. “Yeah, well, no…” His eyes shifted uncomfortably behind his mask, trying to think of a different way to ask for Tony’s help without having to tell him about the issue he was having. “I mean of course not, I’m definitely not a virgin.” Peter replied awkwardly, cursing himself. Cindy knew he wasn’t a virgin obviously. What a dumb thing to say. Peter fought the urge to pull his mask down just enough to kiss her without the barrier between them. Instead he jumped down from the spot where he was hanging. Sighing, he scratched the back of his neck where his mask met his suit. “Yeah, I should go.” Turning around, he walked towards the edge of the rooftop. “Maybe forever.” He whispered to himself, turning back to look at her. They had to get better at staying apart if they were both going to focus on anything other than mating. “Okay, I’m gonna go now.”
“ Just think about it. It’s bad enough being around me makes us like this. I don’t want you to do anything else you’re uncomfortable with.” she said to him. Peter was clearly uncomfortable having that conversation. He moved back towards the edge of the building and she made sure to focus on not following him. “okay..” she nodded, not moving. She didn’t trust herself to stand up until he was out of sight. “So Tomorrow? Coffee shop?” she asked him curiously, “bye spiderman.” she smirked, giving him a small wave.

Felicia rolled her shoulders before she smirked. “It isn’t only you who can sense him.” She wrapped her arm around her. “I do too. Makes my kitty sense purr.” She teased again at the joke. She stepped in front of Cindy as she looked down at the slightly shorter woman. “Well, unless your going to kill him, your going to have to learn to deal with it.” She told her dryly. “I mean, he is a pain in the backside of many people and you ain’t the first and you ain’t going to be the last.” She said as if fact. “Maybe you should do what I do. Follow the thrill. Not the sense.”
“Oh please, no. stop. That is an image I very much do not want in my head.” Cindy shook her head side to side. She ignored the brewing jealousy in the pit of her stomach. “Thank you, Felicia, for that riveting advice. You don’t think I know that already? But I’m not going to kill him.” she rolled her eyes. Felicia was always so dramatic. “That means quite literally sleeping Spiderman every time i see him wherever i am. If anything that causes more problems than solutions. I mean…I don’t even know if I actually LIKE him.”

“I know, I know.” He replied without making any effort to climb back up. Peter was at war with his body, fighting between instinct and logic. Her pheromones’ were strong, too strong to just ignore. Peter shook his head. He couldn’t imagine even that. His Spider-Sense had saved his life more times than he could count, protecting him from things he couldn’t even see coming until they were on top of him. “That sucks. Do you think there’s like a way to fix it? I could talk to Mr. Stark or maybe introduce you or something. He might be able to help.” He wasn’t actually sure if Tony could do anything but it was worth a shot. If anyone could help her it was Mr. Stark. “But then I would…I would-I would have to tell him about the whole mating thing and that…I don’t know if that…um…” His voice trailed off as Cindy caressed his face, distracted once again by her. No matter how hard Peter fought, he always found himself engrossed in her.
“Peter.” she said a little more sternly when he didn’t move. “It’s been like this for years. I’m used to it. I’m just a good a fighter without it.” she said to him. She didn’t need the spider sense. She had common sense. That’s what she told herself anyway. "Peter, you’re adult. I’m sure he doesn’t think you’re a virgin.” she said to him, now toying wit the neck line of his mask lighlty. “It’s that or, we’re like this with each other for the unforeseeable future.” she pointed out to him. She felt her fingers tug on the mask and let it go. “You should really go. It’s not safe for you here I can get myself home..” she said to him. She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his, over the mask of course.
queensbestwebslinger:
“Yeah, great, that works.” Peter said, clearly becoming distracted. He lowered again until he was hovering just at eye level with her. “You always feel like this?” He knew that her Spider-Sense didn’t work as well as his but he couldn’t imagine it always feeling like this. How did she get anything done? “No, it wouldn’t. Come on. That’s not true. The world needs you. The city needs you.” Peter pursed his lips, looking to away from Cindy for a second. “Mr. Stark? Man, why didn’t I think of that?” He pouted, looking at her again. “I can text him and see if we could hangout there. He’s got this huge new lab that’s awesome. Maybe he’ll let me show you.”
Cindy could feel him coming closer to her. “Spiderman.” She warned and when he didn’t move, she turned to look at him. “Not like THIS.” She gestured between them. “But I had my sense go off because a girl was crying at a party over her ex. Not exactly life or death. I just ignore it most of the time.” She explained. She couldn’t imagine if she felt like this all the time. She wouldn’t be able to function. She liked being close to him. Weather or not that was because of their pheromones or not was what made all this a lot more difficult. And this was the EASY version. When they were outside. It was a lot harder in confined spaces. “I mean to see if he had any ideas on how to fix the whole wanting to mate thing Peter.” She chuckled and caressed his face lightly. “But I’d like that.”
queensbestwebslinger:

“Or I could do that.” He replied. Sometimes he didn’t think about the most simple things, especially when it felt like a swarm of bees was buzzing around his head. It almost felt like Cindy was asking him on a date by suggesting a coffee shop but he knew better. “Yeah, I like coffee.” Coffee would be great and just as she said: they would have no choice but to keep it together. Peter lowered himself as she sat down, his body like a magnet with hers. “I still don’t get this whole shared Spider-Sense thing.” Being bitten by the same spider was more complicated than he ever would have thought. It was like the radiation couldn’t be apart or something. Even now he was fighting the urge not to jump down and kiss her, the only clear thought was to keep his mask on.
“Okay then. I’ll send you my schedule. You can see what works best for you.” she told him, smirking and forcing herself to look away when he lowered him self. “I don’t either. At least yours works better when you’re not near me. Mine is almost always this jumbled mess. Sometimes I think maybe I should had stayed in that bunker. Away from the world. It be easier..” she sighed. She tapped her hands against her leg in a away to let out the tension her body felt. “Don’t you know that guy? Rich smart, glasses? Maybe he could us?” she offered out.
queensbestwebslinger:.
“Like Life 360 or something?” It actually wasn’t a bad idea. If they had each other’s location it would be a lot easier to avoid situations like the one they were in right now. The thought about her suggestion, biting the inside of his cheek as he debated whether it was worth it. Bringing her into his life was a risk. If she slipped up and Harry or MJ found out it would put them in danger. “Can I think about it? I wanna hangout with you. I just don’t know where. My apartment gets kinda crazy, my roommate, Harry likes to have company and it can get a little chaotic.” When he realized that they were gravitating back towards each other, Peter shot a web at the top giant neon sign that lit the roof. If he could walk then he couldn’t move towards her, right? He perched himself upside down, hanging from the web with the hope that it would stop him from moving any closer to her. “This isn’t working, is it?”
“Yeah, or you can just share your location with me on your phone? Since we both have iphones?” she mentioned, a small giggle escaping her lips. Peter was one of the smartest people Cindy had ever met, but sometimes that stopped him from seeing the very easy answer right in front of him. “No I understand. We can always hang at a neutral zone for us. Like a coffee shop. A place where we have no choice but to keep it together?” she thought out loud, eyes following him as he came down on the web. “Not really no.” she laughed again. She sat down on the ground and looked up at him. “But it’s something I suppose.”

Peter was still kissing Cindy when she slipped from his grip, ending up on the other side of the roof. He stayed where he was for a second before he realized where she was, turning to look at her. “Good idea.” He pulled his mask back down like a wall between them. His skin was still buzzing as he fought the urge to pull her back to him with a web. It would have been easy and quick to have her back in his arms. Every nerve in his body was shouting for him to do it but he continued to fight, taking a few steps back until he was at the edge of the roof. “I’ll just try not to come this way unless you text me back next time.” His mind was screaming at him and he took an involuntary step forward as his body tried to make its way back to Cindy. “Yeah, it was great. I, uh, I should probably go.” He pointed behind him with his thumb but his body took another step forward.
“And I’ll try to keep my phone on me. Maybe we should use those like find my friends apps? So we’ll just know?” she offered out holding onto the web in her hands to ground herself. as long as she could feel it in her hands, she was at a distance. “Or...Maybe we should try to spend more time together? As ourselves. Because clearly the whole staying away thing isn’t really working well.” she said as she watched him walk towards her. “It’s just building up and exploding...maybe we can learn to let out the pressure?” Cindy went to squeeze the web again but didn’t feel it. She was about a foot away from the door now. She hadn’t even noticed she’d been moving towards him too.
queensbestwebslinger:

“Yeah, it’s good. It’s a good rooftop.” He mumbled against her lips, completely unsure what the rooftop looked like. It didn’t matter. He didn’t care. He couldn’t have even if he wanted to. His body wouldn’t let him. “I thought I texted you.” He said breathlessly, pulling away from her just enough to catch his breath. “I did text you, didn’t I?” Peter couldn’t help but think this was his fault, letting it slip his mind to tell her since this wasn’t his usual route. He was too distracted to check, his mind feeling fuzzy like the static of a television. He couldn’t focus on anything other than Cindy thanks to her pheromones. Everything about her was addicting and he couldn’t get enough. The only thing he knew was that he had to keep kissing her and so he did after catching his breath, pressing his lips to hers again, his hand moving down her body to watch her waist.
“I left my phone...home. It...was dead.” she spoke inbetween kisses, moving to take the rest of his mask off. No. They were in public. It was one thing for Silk to be exposed to the public. No one barely knew who she was. She was a shadow. But it was a completely other thing for Spiderman to be. He had too many enemies. With a groan of regret she used her webs to grab onto the roof door. She propelled herself out from under Peter, putting distance between them. “Stay over there.” she said to him, trying her best to stay put. “It’s too risky, out in the open like this.” she breathed out heavily, pulling her costume back over her face. “But it was nice, if that’s any consolation?” she tried to say. “Sorry...that was a weird thing to say.”
felinefelicia:
“Over what? Scared of heights?” Felicia teased as she stood at the edge of the rooftop with no fear in her eyes. She watched the other bounce on her heels. “Relax, kid.” She laughed before she tilted her head when Silk asked her to be serious. “Why be serious? Nothing good comes out of that.” She told her, hopping down from the ledge as she then raised her eyebrows behind the goggles. “Claws away, kitten. That was uncalled for.” She sighed as she rolled her eyes after a brief pause. “Lay it on me. What web have you got yourself stuck in?”
“Of course not.” Cindy rolled her eyes. She wait for Felicia to get serious, still impatiently bouncing. “I can’t. Spiderman’s near by somewhere.” She told her, wishing he’d hurry up and go to his side of the city. “Well, turns out we have this thing because we got our powers from the same spider and well, when he’s around I know.” She tried to explain it keeping out the bit where they practically tear each other’s clothes off. “And it just makes my already wacked spider sense even worse.”
klyntarspider:
Gwen was sulking in her bedroom, fingers toying with a Rubik’s cube. She was trying to keep her mind off the argument she’d had with Cindy that morning. It was so stupid, and she hadn’t even done anything wrong. It wasn’t her fault that Venom had eaten the last of the fudge sundae Pop-Tarts. She didn’t exactly have very much control over the symbiote. With a huff, she sat up in bed, contemplating whether she should pack a bag and go visit Miles. As if her roommate could read her thoughts, she was suddenly in her room and sliding into bed beside her. Turning her head, Gwen glared at Cindy, her expression finally softening when she heard the apology. “I forgive you. Venom isn’t sorry about this morning, but I am,” she told her, offering her a smile as she lay back down. “What’s up, my disaster princess?”
“I‘m just getting used to living with someone for once. I promise to try and not blow up.” She explained as she looked at Gwen. “I just missed you today. I don’t like when we fight..I ran into Peter. Or rather he ran into me. You can imagine how that went.” She sighed. She felt the same attraction to gwen, but it wasn’t as strong as Peter’s. She assumed it had something to do with the fact that Gwen had Venom now. Being near Gwen was just…well normal turned on? Most of the time anyway. Some times it got bad but that may have just been cause Gwen was hot. Cindy wasn’t too proud to admit that. “Can venom hear me?”

Try as he might, Peter had little control when it came to Cindy and the way he acted around her. His senses went haywire and the only thing he could focus on was her. Being near her made it hard to be Spider-Man, to keep an eye out for danger and protect the city. It was the reason they had agreed to try and keep their distance from each other. He could feel her close and something in him went directly for her instead of away like he normally did. Peter swung towards the building she was crossing, using his arm to catch her against his chest. Landing on a nearby rooftop, he pulled his mask up only enough to expose his lips, kissing her neck in an instant. “Is here bad?” He asked, lips moving up her neck to kiss her lips.
Cindy was going to suggest moving but then he was kissing her again. It was like her nerves were struck by lighting as all her senses became more acute, everything focused on Peter. She was sure if she focused enough, she could hear his heart racing with hers. “Here’s perfect.” She smiled back and pulled him back to her, hands roaming his body. This wasn’t the best of ideas, but it was better to let the tension out with a make out session, right? Better than letting the pressure build and explode in the wrong situation. Like loosening the cap on a shaken bottle of soda just so. That’s what she told herself anyway. “I didn’t know you’d be on this side of the city, I’m sorry.” she apologized, assuming this was just their reaction to the chemicals running through their bodies. Nothing more..
