Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012: Parisian + SM Ladies
My apologies for the super late post, I've been busy settling myself in college. Which reminds me how I have to post about my first week as well.
Anyway, this is what I wore:

I looked so haggard when I got to SMX, I just came from my last class which ended at 7:20! Anyway, I arrived just in time for the show. As always Parisian tickles my fancy and this season's collection was one of my favorites from them. The pair of shoes I wore to the show are from that collection. I think this is the highest heel height I've seen from Parisian.
SM Ladies this season wasn't as disappointing as last season however, it's as if I went through the entire department store. I wished it kept me wanting more rather than making my eyes tired. Though, the good thing was that it was better than last season! Keep up the progress SM Ladies! haha!

For my birthday, I decided to celebrate with my friends earlier on the 4th. I had a very lovely dinner in KAI, my fave red gummi bear drink from Jamba Juice and chilled in Fiamma to wait for midnight. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to shoot the outfit I wore :( Oh well, there will be better outfits next time! haha!
May 5th, Saturday
The following day I attended a workshop by The LiST Group hosted by David and Lissa. Again, I wasn't able to photograph what I wore to this :( Anyway, back to the workshop, it was lovely meeting new people :) I got to work with the fantastic group four, I have a couple of photos we shot for the Blogging/Styling/Photography activity we did at the workshop.
After that I rushed home to change into this:

Even if it was my eighteenth birthday, I'm still a kid no matter what <3
All in all, it was an amazing way to spend my birthday. I spent it with friends, family and new friends! At first, a part of me seriously wanted a debut, but now that I think about it the way I spent my birthday, I wouldn't have it any other way. This year is my year and everything will be great for me and the people around me.
Okay, I know, that totally did not rhyme at all! Haha! Anyway... Last Monday, I attended my cousin CK's wedding somewhere in Alabang, then headed to the reception at the Palms Country Club. She and her husband Eggie have been together for a long time actually and I'm happy to see them get married (finally!). I'm kidding of course, but their wedding was more of for formality's sake seeing how in love they both are. I'll paraphrase what the maid of honor Meryll Yan said at the reception, they are practically "yin and yang"- they balance each other out. I guess you can say the same when it comes to being a blogger/student/daughter/designer in the making/etc, there always has to be a balance.

That's pretty much the wedding really, so here's tiny ol' me:
I wore a dress that was recycled from a prom I was invited to before. I actually used this as a costume too, haha! If it's one thing I've learned about having clothes made is that always make sure it's not a "one-time-big-time" use thing. I mean take the Dutchess of Cambridge, Catherine for example. She's used clothes from former events and re-used it in a different way.

A couple of things, that I was reminded of and I should keep in mind now that I'm about to enter college: Balance is definitely the key to everything and it's alright to repeat clothes, just not the exact same outfit!
Yesterday, I along with another blogger Bjorn Bedayo were invited by SM-Youth to watch the Avengers on IMAX in SM North Edsa. I was also able to meet the other bloggers who were invited they were David Guison, Miko Carreon and Gerd Perez. Blogging, bringing people together. Haha! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to meet the winner of my giveaway :( Hopefully, the next giveaway, I get to meet whomever wins it. Anyway, after the movie my mum, my sisters and I ate at 4 Fingers. Can I just say, the food there is actually yummy, definitely going back there next time I'm at SM North Edsa.

Oh! Before I forget, it was Bjorn's birthday so I along with David and Revo and Maureen of SM-Youth had a little surprise for him, check it out here.
The Avengers was a really good movie and I can definitely say that Hawk Eye and Captain America are my new loves <3 haha! That and Black Widow makes me want to take training more seriously. It's definitely a movie I'd love to watch again. For the nth nth time, thank you so much SM-Youth!
All in all, last night was a pretty sweet date night with my mum and my sisters :)
Today, I had to do a bunch of things for enrollment, for tomorrow and so on. Along with my darling panget sisters (Of course, I'm kidding. I love these two.), we ended up visiting two SM's today, that being Makati and Megamall.
Since it was a relatively hot day, I chose to wear something comfy.
Top (Forever 21), Denim Shorts (Levi's; pants that I had altered), Sneakers (H&M), Bag (Kate Spade), Leather Cuff (Levi's), Turquoise colored ring (Forever 21), Cross Ring (Girl Shoppe), Emerald ring (given by my grandma) and White gold ring (given by my mum).
I'm way too excited so I got my nails done at Ness Astilla Salon for the Avengers tomorrow, themed after Iron Man :)
I used a red base color from Elianto and a Gold glitter mini french from Etude House, here's the end result (yes, my hand is odd-looking haha!) :
