Aftermath
Should I watch a movie from my watchlist or rewatch one of the bunch I’ve been rewatching for months? I wonderrrr..
What watching a movie over and over again does to a person
I recently re watched No Country For Old Men since it is now available on netflix, and i have some thoughts about Anton (as usual) it's not really anything analytical or deep, just dumb stuff that came to my mind after finishig it again.
Anton is considered to be one of the most terryfing antagonists in cinema, and yes, he is, even i found him scary when i first watched it, but after having watched it a couple of times, relfecting about the message of the movie and knowing what happens with Chigurh at the end of it, he is actually really fun to watch, of course that if i were to encounter with someone like him in real life i'd be scared to death and 100% die, watching him on the screen is kind of comical in a way. His interactions and sarcasm (if it can be named like that) are funny to see, specially after knowing what happens to him and his ego crush at his final scene.
Also, fanfic writers sometimes portray him as overserious/mean, and while he is sometimes, in some scenes i find him to be actually very expressive in his own way. Another thing to say is that he is very talkative for someone who doesn't like small talk.
I haven't read the book yet so all this commentary is based on the movie.
I know i might be saying some bullshit and imagining things but i still wanted to share it 😭 what 9 years with no new content do to someone.
