probably lighting/shading? Making it looks accurate to real life is already pretty tricky. Making it intentionally “inaccurate” but interesting and cool is even harder

coloring is pretty hard too I never do it properly I just spam gradient maps and filters. Art’s just difficult lmao

I got inspired by a lot of people but my earliest (so you can kinda assume biggest) inspo was Aoyama Gosho (Detective Conan mangaka)

I wont blame you too much if you got no idea who he is but in my country (Vietnam) Detective Conan was very popular. Like arguably most popular manga. So I used to copy his shit all the time. Too bad the series is pretty chopped now. Another one was the aikatsu franchise cause im gay

More recent big inspo is reverse 1999 that game changed my art too bad its a gacha game

kumeyuri seems most pratical in normal modern non katana society. I can prolly use banquet make people halucinate me attending class, me passing an exam, me paying em money, me you get the idea. also play can manipulate objects to do work for me or smthing. also it kills people well enough
