Imagine countries who are friends sharing songs, creating playlists together

It either ends up being a cohesive playlist following a theme, or a classical piece by beethoven played directly after WAP

Imagine the BTT/BFT creating a playlist. That playlists either gonna be a mess or its gonna be so chaotic it loops back into being cohesive and thematic

Austria saw the new added song to the playlist and almost launched at Prussia from across the table for ruining his beautiful playlist

(WAP was actually added by Hungary and not Prussia)

Prussias is aghast that the others dont appreciate the awesomeness of his music tastes. Spain and France(but mostly France) would normally bristle at this but because its Prussia, they're more forgiving.

Behold, the family of all time

Alfred and Matthew have the exact same frames on their glasses. Which makes mornings post-blackout-drunk-parties and sleepovers very confusing. Fortunately, Alfred is far-sighted and Matthew is near-sighted, so whenever they're confused, they just wear whatever glasses is nearest and when it doesn't give them a splitting headache and nauseating dizziness(and when their horrendous eyesight doesn't decline even further), they know it's theirs.

Another Crack Crossover Idea: Percy Jackson as one of Ryland Grace's students. (Or any demigod really) + crackship Ryland Grace x Apollo (don't take this too seriously pls 🙏)

Demigods always struggle in mortal school systems. More often than not, they don't consider the children's ADHD, and dyslexia and the demigods aren't getting proper understanding nor accomodations from most of their teachers which obviously results in most of them dropping out, keep moving, and generally not learning at all. And then Grace, probably undiagnosed audhd, takes his time to accomodate them, because be knows how they struggle in a system that's not built for them. There are other teachers and higher ups in tbe school that think these problem children are lost cause, too hyper, too lazy, etc.

He easily becomes their favorite teacher, making science and studies genuinely interesting instead of a chore, or something that's personally out to get them.

And then the whole Astrophage thing happens. The sun is dimming. And somehow the Greek Pantheon, or the divine realm in general are connected to it and are also having trouble with it for reasons that I am not that creative to come up with.

The plot of Project Hail Mary still happens, Grace gets forced in the ship, meets Rocky, etc.

(Mid way through typing I thought of another idea and thats where the Grace x Apollo ship comes in. Sorry my mind is vv scrambled rn)

Whilst the gods are panicking, the launch is announced in TV, and Apollo, disguised as a mortal, sees that scientist Ryland Grace was one of the astronauts and his first reaction was "This mortal is kinda cute", then "Wait.. Isn't this my daughter's science teacher?" He has been doubling his efforts in being more involved in his children's lives(no matter what Zeus says) and he remembered her mentioning a favorite teacher of hers. Ryland Grace.

Then, the beatles come back and the the sun is slowly starting to get brighter. Everyone is in disbelief that a mortal (who is not aware of the godly world at this point) can solve a problem that the GODS have been trying to solve. Apollo at first is as shocked as the others that a MERE MORTAL MAN. Then after his initial shock, he starts to feel something else.... Artemis is getting tired at this point considering her brother's dazzling track record of tragic lovers.

Imagine Apollo rolling up to Erid in his chariot being like

"Hey"

Waitt in the Riordanverse, multiple pantheons coexist. Like the Greeks, the Egyptians, the Norse. Imagine if Eridians have/had various religions and also have a few pantheons running around and now Grace saved two suns, two planets, and two(and more) pantheons probably.

(Ryland recognizing some of his children students at Camp Half Blood is a bonus)

Lets just hope that Grace doesn't turn into a plant.

I’ve been loving all the BloodyMary crossover stuff, my favorite being when they just. Find the blood moon or just the SM-13 on the way to Erid. But I also think it’s equally funny for Grace and Rocky to find other characters/planets, just. On the way.

That being said, here are my other ideas on what the Hail Mary can run into on the way to Erid:

Grace and Rocky find the Tulpar post-crash. (bonus points if Rocky full body tackles Jimmy)

Grace and Rocky find literally any Transformer or Decepticon, I’m not picky.

Grace and Rocky find a xenomorph (bonus points if eridians can communicate with it and they befriend the xenomorph)

Grace and Rocky meet a Predator (bonus points if they befriend a predator)

Grace and Rocky find Wheatley.

Grace and Rocky find literally any space-residing pokemon.

Grace and Rocky find the Collector from The Owl House.

Grace and Rocky find a baby Superman like, right after Krypton is destroyed.

Grace and Rocky find the planet Vesta from Scavengers Reign.

And, my personal favorite:

All of them, at the same time.

Feel free to suggest more characters/spaceships to strap onto the Hail Mary for the worlds worst space roadtrip.

One miraculous thing that the Ryland Grace x Tom Ryder ship got me to do is to ship two blondes.

Thinking of Coltland twins au where Colt has to portray Ryland in a Project Hail Mary biopic because look at him! They're identical! I'd like to imagine this as before the beetles arrived. No one knows abt Rocky and the Eridians yet. So basically Colt has to reenact his brothers death.

But wait

There is more

As is things didn't get any worse imagine that in this au. ✨Tom Ryder x Ryland Grace✨ (starstruck? Whatever ppl decide the ship name is) are together. They've been going on the down low but someone leaked a photo or video of them which proved that they are, in fact, in a relationship, which led to a social media frenzy that took quite awhile to control.

Ryland doesn't fix Tom during their time together, but Tom bettered himself for Grace despite his initial intention to date Ryland just to spite his brother. Said brother doesn't buy it tho, in his mind, Tom is still a stuck-up prick. He even tries to convince Ryland to break up with him, but he remains as stubborn as ever, much to Colt's chagrin and Tom's smug delight.

At first among the two of them, Tom is the popular one in the relationship, something he would often joke about, but since the whole hail mary happened, ppl were quick ro notice that one of the astronauts has a striking resemblance to the boyfriend of one popular actor.

Shortly after the launch of the hail mary, Tom gets bombarded by reporters, interviewers, news stations, etc. But he is an absolute WRECK. Not only does his boyfriend vanish from the face of the planet(at first meant metaphorically, but apparently now literally), but he also has to deal with the mess that comes along with it AND ALSO THE FACT THAT HIS BOYFRIEND WAS GONNA DIE and there was no communication. No phone call. Text. Nothing. He locks himself in as those ppl basically camp his house.

Colt and Tom never really got along. Even after Tom and Ryland got together, and even after Tom started being less of a prick. But there is now a silent understanding between them. A shared grief for a brother and a lover.

After a few years, a biopic of Project Hail Mary is in production. There's gonna be a part where the astronauts' lives shortly before the launch is shown. And wouldn't you know it. There's a replica of Dr. Grace in the form of his twin brother who already has experience in movie production. Yknow who else has experience in movies?

So now Colt is playing his dead brother, and Tom is playing himself as "the boyfriend"-and there's quite alot to unpack here.

Tom 'I'm still in love with my ex' Ryder. Just something about Colt looking and acting nothing like Ryland (at least to Tom who knows both of them on a more personal scale than most others to see the differences) but if Tom lets the lines blur, tilts his head a certain way and forgets about the cameras at his back then it's almost like- but he's not. He isn't Ryland. He isn't.

Tom and Colt don't get along. They're like two pieces of sandpaper against each other but for the biopic- and it's just. Colt is wearing Ryland's face. That's Ryland. Colt's got on the teacher get up, the glasses, and with the make up no one can tell that there's scars on his face from whatever stunts in the years before. They've got that same smile. Ryland's was more shy though, wasn't it?

I need to see Tom struggle with seeing Ryland in Colt and Colt being just Normal about Tom and Not Liking him and Tom having to deal w a man that looks like his ex boyfriend who ghosted him and is dying/died for humanity, not quite hate but not quite like him. They have an understanding, a silent solidarity in mourning but not all is forgiven nor forgotten.

Just Colt who has known Tom for years, was literally the one to introduce him to Gail, back when he was the latest 'up-and-coming-new-actor' and not Tom Ryder. Just Colt. Colt who is Ryland's brother and that fact didn't feel like something so big before, but now...

UAGH. I need Colt to look at Tom and wonder what the hell it was Ryland saw that no one else did and I need Tom to look into the mirror in his trailer long and hard and wonder the same exact thing. Yes, he goes on a bender about it.

I was trying to look for ideas for an Eridian oc. Then while researching I saw a "yellow botryoidal fluorite" and it looked like my fav foods, an egg. And I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Fried Egg has mixed feelings about being named after earth food. In their opinion, they don't want to be food. However, they do want to be consumed. They always wondered what it feels like to be consumed. Esp by a human. Leaky space blobs they were. And they have no problem saying it. To Grace's face.

Is a quote I thought about when thinking of the tragedy of Colt dying from stunt injuries, then Ryland being sent on a suicide mission (he has no immediate family Stratt says), and Court outliving them both.

He's no parent. But he was there. He was there when they said their first words, took their first steps. He was the one who got them ready for school, made them food, comforted them when they had nightmares. He was the one who caught Colt everytime he fell. He was the one who sparked Ryland's interest in science.

As they grew older, the twins couldn't be any more different in personality, but their eyes held the same admiration for their older brother in the way it lit up when they see him, a way of saying they feel protected. Safe. As if all the terrors of the world can never reach them when he's around. Their eyes was what Court thought of as he shot their father dead. Even as he was taken by the Sierra program, he finds his way at the corner far back in the audience on their graduation. He's not their parent, but he raised them all the same.

And he wasn't even the one to bury them.

PHM X Mouthwashing crossover where due to cosmic time fuckery it's been a lot longer on Earth than it has on Erid, so when Grace, Rocky and Adrian travel back to Earth hoping to establish some sort of connection (and more importantly so Grace can be home again, even if just for a brief moment) that's when they come across the tulpar spinning wildly out of control.

Congratulations Grace, you get to talk to real humans again! Unfortunately that includes one of the worst ones there is.
