Link has never been much of a talker—and with each passing year, he speaks less and less. By now, he's learned his lesson: Keep his mouth shut, keep his head down, and keep to himself. But when he becomes Princess Zelda's appointed knight, it seems his silence is giving her the wrong idea! Can Link bridge the gap between them, and finally use his voice?
A Silent Knight is an 87-page prequel fan comic based on Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This character-focused comic explores Link's internal conflict, and what I believe shaped his personality over the years. This story is heavily based on my own personal experiences with social anxiety and situational mutism, and is very close to my heart. I hope those that relate to Link's struggles find comfort in knowing that you are not alone. Those with the softest voices still have important things to say 💕

While we're not anywhere close to a release date, I felt it was the right time to share the cover, title and summary with you guys!! Now, I first made this cover nearly two years ago, and though I've since made some edits (changed it to nighttime to fully take advantage of the pun), there's still a chance that I might later decide to redraw this cover altogether. This project is turning out to be a slow and steady mountain climb, so thanks for climbing it with me 🙂↕️🫶
