Howdy folks! I'm Grim (or Daisy, whatever works!), and I'm a freelance artist! I love OCs, TTRPGs, and horror. I also have a youtube channel where I talk about my experiences doing commissions & sometimes give out art advice! ....and I have a webcomic! I do a lot of art things!

Do not repost/use my art without express permission from me. No NFTs/AI. If you see my work being used without permission, please let me know so I can handle it!
You CAN use my art for profile pics/banners w/ credit! Especially if you commissioned it or it has your character 💖

Hey guys! I've got a new commission type available on Vgen as of today!
(characters featured here are not mine.)
Say hello to my small pixel dolls, a fun way to spice up a character page or your livestreams! Multiple add-ons are available, including small animations!
(I'll be adding extra characters as an option soon!)
Check out my Vgen for more information (or to place an order)!
Gonna be real, boss, I'd just like to buy some groceries. One small pixel doll purchase pays for a trip to the store. If you'd rather help out with something smaller, I've also got:
Fanfic & Fiction commissions
Song-Inspired Mini Fics
Pixel Toincy Sprites
Colored Sketches
Cell-Shaded Illustrations
I'm also available for custom work, if you have an idea not suited to any of these commission types (but within my skill set).
your art is very yummy; i greatly like how you use colours and how you shade it all and all the detail
i was wondering how you found your artstyle, and how you managed to figure out what works best for you?
thank you!
my personal art style developed on its own as i drew what i liked! i tried to emulate BJD dolls early on, for example, because i really liked the way they were coloured and proportioned. taking inspiration from other artists does so much truly - both art history and contemporary art. i dont think a person needs to strive for a 'consistent' art style, as i think thats something that emerges on its own after enough time spent doing art. intention is important though
if you'll allow me to get on my soapbox a bit here, i think something that is really crucial is that you REALLY need to know the basics. anatomy, colour theory, and composition are so so important to know. you need to know WHY the things you do look good, and what you did to make them look good. i'm not saying your art has to be anatomically accurate, but if you want to stray away from realism + develop your own style you need a healthy basis to jump away from - art is still academics imo. stylization spring forward from a healthy understanding of this
It's time to talk hot takes! As expected, I DO try to approach these with some amount of nuance, but it's gonna get a little spicy in here by the nature of them!
It's called the Global Justice Report, it is here. This is an actionable plan which can be sent to legislators and demanded of political parties. We could save the world within our lifetimes.
It has always been possible. It is still possible.
