LYRA’S FAMILY
tylo halcard. tylo halcard is lyra’s father, who still works as a mercenary. he is a cold, calculating man, and when her grandfather used to say that she was her father’s daughter, lyra resented it. he was never around much, too focused on his assignments.
myla halcard. myla halcard was lyra’s mother, who passed away during childbirth. while lyra never knew her mother, people around her told her that she was surprisingly kind, something lyra’s grandfather considered to be a stain on his family. from what lyra has heard, myla was kind, but she was still tough, and was never afraid to stand up to the clan leader.
myn halcard. myn halcard is lyra’s older brother. like lyra, myn was experimented on, giving him the same shapeshifting abilities as lyra. however, where lyra grew to hate her life as a mercenary, myn reveled in it. when lyra’s grandfather learned of her intentions to desert the clan, myn was the person sent to kill her. unknown to lyra, he hesitated at the last moment, leaving knowing that she was still alive.
haon halcard. haon halcard lyra’s grandfather, and the head of the halcard clan. he’s as ruthless as he is mean, but he always had a soft spot for lyra, who reminded him of lyra’s mother. he was responsible for the genetic experimentation on both of his grandchildren, taking great pride in being responsible for creating two such amazing mercenaries. however, the feeling of betrayal was vast when he discovered that lyra was planning to turn her back on her clan, which prompted him to send myn to take her out. even though myn claims to have completed his mission, haon is sure that lyra is still alive.
