18 Emotions people feel, but can’t explain
Sonder: The realization that each passerby has a life as vivid and complex as your own.
Opia: The ambiguous intensity of Looking someone in the eye, which can feel simultaneously invasive and vulnerable.
Monachopsis: The subtle but persistent feeling of being out of place.
Énouement: The bittersweetness of having arrived in the future, seeing how things turn out, but not being able to tell your past self.
Vellichor: The strange wistfulness of used bookshops.
Rubatosis: The unsettling awareness of your own heartbeat.
Kenopsia: The eerie, forlorn atmosphere of a place that is usually bustling with people but is now abandoned and quiet.
Mauerbauertraurigkeit: The inexplicable urge to push people away, even close friends who you really like.
Jouska: A hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head.
Chrysalism: The amniotic tranquility of being indoors during a thunderstorm.
Anecdoche: A conversation in which everyone is talking, but nobody is listening
Exulansis: The tendency to give up trying to talk about an experience because people are unable to relate to it.
Adronitis: Frustration with how long it takes to get to know someone.
Rückkehrunruhe: The feeling of returning home after an immersive trip only to find it fading rapidly from your awareness.
Nodus Tollens: The realization that the plot of your life doesn’t make sense to you anymore.
Onism: The frustration of being stuck in just one body, that inhabits only one place at a time.
Liberosis: The desire to care less about things.
Occhiolism: The awareness of the smallness of your perspective.
I feel like the message wasn’t super clear in this drawing, but I wanted to say that you can do what you love, even if it’s not your work (be it job or school). Still find time for your passions and hobbies in life! : ) It doesn’t have to be one or the other. You deserve to have the happiness and fulfillment of doing the things you love in addition to doing whatever you have to do to get by. Webtoon | Patreon | Instagram

Best Weapon on Discovery?
In Star Trek:Discovery, the crew is on a mission to beat the Klingons, particularly before they can unite into an empire and be even more of a threat. Captain Lorca is on the war path and is willing to weaponise *anything* if it will end the fighting. But he already has the weapon needed, right there in his readyroom! No, not the guns or knives (or Ripper!) There on his desk, fluffy and unassuming… is a Tribble!
Maybe its not just a visual joke to appease the fans
…Remember the DS9/ST:OS cross over ep, Trials and Tribble-ations? Worf tells Odo that Tribbles are “mortal enemies” of the Klingon empire, “an ecological menace, a plague to be wiped out. Hundreds of warriors were sent to track them down throughout the galaxy, an armada wiped out the tribble home world. By the end of the 23rd century they had been eradicated."
You with me so far?
What if it’s Captain Lorca that weaponises the Tribbles! They have a super fast ship, so they can zoom in and drop a Tribble in a grain silo and GTFO before anyone notices… That would mean that the Klingons will be distracted by, what Odo jokingly calls ‘The Great Tribble Hunt’ for the next 50ish years, and Star Fleet can win :D
So… What do you think? It *could* work, right…?

Finally home
Great weekend away. Wonderful to see family. Much fun was had. But the long drive there, and then back again is a killer :(
Not helped by the painfully slow roadworks, or the morale sapping monent the satnav helpfully pipes up: "Merge with motorway. Continue for 163 miles" 😲
Hello October
Finished! From dust sheet & duvet to a happy hippy hobobag in a day.
It worked! Next step, cut it up and sew stuff :)
Tiedying
Indulging my hippy side. And now everything is multicoloured, including my fingers.
Hullo?
Am I allowed back? Not been here for a while. Missed you. Sorry for being a crap friend. Will try harder.
Today will be good, I'm Devouring the Sun. You should too, you know.
