Ghosts
Let me take you on a drive
road trips and old bollywood songs》》》
My view on the way to work every morning
Baby, I'm perfect for you
And if you like midnight driving with the windows down
And if you like going places we can't even pronounce
If you like to do whatever you've been dreaming about
Then baby, you're perfect 🤍
Hold my hand and take me somewhere I don't know. Even for some time. Where we could be free and talk about whatever. Let's go to the thrift stores, read books in the bookstore at midnight. Stroll and dance on the empty road at night. Stay on the rooftop till the sun rises. Watch the moon together. Maybe write anonymous letters about poetry, kind words and put them in the books of the library. Take trains to don't know where. Listening music and sharing headphones because that's our love language. Just laying in the grass staring at sky for hours in comfortable silence. The only thing confirming our presence to each other being our slow and steady breathes. Look the sky is so pretty and so are flowers and the moon and the stars and you and your eyes, your smile, your laugh, and the ocean and the rain. They are all so beautiful.
Mentally I'm here.
Windows are down - feeling the little drizzles sweeping past our flowing hair - cool fresh breeze singing its melody in our ears - weather is gloomy, filled with misty dews - with every mile a new rhythm involuntarily moves our fingertips on the beats - twilight is visible and on the brink to fade away - inside the place is warm, outside it's pouring close - no destination to reach to - no quest to compete to - no one waiting for us to come - because we're home already.
