Kazuha Merch #1: The Birthday Letter

I was bored one day and ended up browsing the Genshin Official Store on Taobao, where I came across Kazuha's birthday letter. I thought it was just a card, so I figured it'd be funny to spend money on a fictional man's letter.

So I bought it.

Almost three weeks later, it arrived. To my surprise, it wasn't just a card.

It came in this gorgeous premium gift box. I definitely wasn't expecting that.

The front of the box says:

命定之日系列 (Mìngdìng Zhī Rì Xìliè)

"Destined Day Series – Character Birthday Gift Box."

Back side :

The wind rises...

The weather has been clear and sunny lately, with little rain, perfect for an outing. In my free time, I strolled through the mountains and fields, and came across branches full of golden foliage. Gazing at this beautiful scenery, I couldn't help but think: spring flowers are lovely, but autumn leaves have their own charm as well. These sights are different from my homeland, yet they carry a unique appeal.

Still, hearing the mournful cry of a migratory bird stirs a hint of melancholy in my heart.

Though I'm used to wandering, I sometimes long for a harbor to rest in. Moving toward warmth and light. I suppose that's only human nature.

By the way, the morning breeze told me that a distinguished guest would be visiting today. I've prepared some good tea in advance and if you could stay for a meal, even better. I could grill a fish, and we could enjoy it together. It's a dish I love, one that captures the essence of the sea. It's rather simple, but I hope it suits your taste.

Since the wind says you'll come, if you follow its guidance, it will surely connect the "fate" 『缘』 (yuán) between us.

This boy really play with words.. anyway, this was a surprise, they gave sticker too in the letter.

I didn't expect to get a pretty box, art card and a badge. Very solid for birthday gift imo so I end up getting another for my friends.

Fontaine and Liyue ver. I bought Neuvilette and Ganyu. I didn't check inside, I let my friends open it for themselves.

Overall, I'm really happy I picked this up.

The box, the art, and the letter were all beautifully made.

Definitely one of my favorite pieces in my collection. 🍁✨

I will probably make another post of Kaedehara Kazuha merch that I bought.

I’ve been experimenting with a different coloring approach recently, so everything feels slower than usual. still learning, but it’s honestly been really enjoyable.
