2 & 5 day - Selfish & Alternative ending.

And another one! This one is kinda angsty but with good ending, I promise!

Emilia was selfish. She knew she was. How could she do that to Chiho? That girl was sweet and good and the most important - honest with her feeling for Maou from the very begging.

But here she was. Confessing to Maou. Because she couldn’t take it anymore. These emotions overwhelmed her. Even though she told Chiho that she would never feel anything for Satan… She broke her word. And now she’s standing in front of him, words stuck trying to say what’s on her mind, but it’s fucking hard! Maou looks at her with surprise and incomprehension. After all, it’s not like her. He probably thinks she’s crazy. Emi just wants to scream at him or at herself. Or maybe at her fate. She doesn’t know.

Emilia took a deep breath and finally said, “I just… I love you.” but she quickly added, “Of course not from the beginning! But… but yes, I love you and… I know what it looks like, but… it’s true.” She closed her eyes for a little longer and opened them again saying “That’s it. That’s all I wanted to say.” She smiled at him as if nothing happened. Because she didn’t want him to feel bad about rejecting her. And because she didn’t want him to see her crying over something like that. Not now.

What she said was true. She didn’t expect anything from him. She didn’t think Maou would have feelings for her. After all, he had such a good person as Chiho next to him, who loved him sincerely and accepted him from the beginning. Why would he love Emi? The person who tried to kill him so many times. His ex-enemy.

Emila lowered her head as she felt tears welling up in her eyes.

“Then I’ll go,” she said aloud, although her voice cracked a little. She doesn’t smile anymore.

She hopes he didn’t notice.

Half-angel turned away from him and was about to walk away when she felt his hand on her wrist. Emilia stopped and looked at their hands. She could still feel tears in her eyes, so she refused to meet his eyes yet.

“Emilia. Wait.” He said in a serious tone. A tone he rarely used. Not for her. She felt in this tone the emotions that he usually directed towards Chiho or other important people but-

“I have to go, Maou I-” She stopped. She stopped because he hugged her. He pulled her against him until Emilia hit his chest with force. Maou put his arms around her in a firm embrace.

Emilia didn’t know what to do. This wasn’t her plan. She wanted to tell him this and then walk away. Only that. But this… Is this his form of taking pity on her?

Suddenly, the girl felt anger boiling inside her. She didn’t want to be a person for whom Satan himself pities. She was about to break free and say something to him when she heard his voice close to her ear.

“I love you too. I think I loved you for a long time, but I realized this only after you went missing. You’ve been away for so long and I have no idea what happened to you. Damn it, Emi. I couldn’t function normally without you. Even passing my driver’s license was difficult because my mind was wandering around you. ”

I-is this really happening, Emilia thought, feeling tears appear in her eyes again.

Could she really be that selfish? Could she afford to be happy with this man? With this demon. With her enemy. With the person, she got to know better, understood, and fell in love with. Is it possible?

“So you have to come back to Earth with me, Emi. I have to finally pass this driver’s license.” Maou finished saying, and Emilia gave him a weak laugh. Finally, she hugged him as well, her fingers gripping the shreds of his shirt.

“Yes. Yes, I will come back to Earth with you. And I will teach you how to drive properly.” She added, and a smile appeared on her face.

Maybe you have to be a bit selfish at times, she thought as she rested her head on Maou’s chest.

Day 7 - Betrayal

“Maou, how could you betray me like that!?” She was staring at him, waiting for the answers.

And he only shrugged.

“You should have expected this.” His words pierced her heart like thorns. She watched as he turns around and starts to put on his jacket.

“Maou!” She yelled and come closer to him, now holding his wrist. “You promised me.” She whispered, and Maou suddenly felt guilty. He took both of her hands in his.

“I’m sorry, Emi, but I already agreed to take their shifts today.” She was still pouting. She was obliviously disappointed and he didn’t like that. He wanted to make it up to her somehow. So he leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead. An instant flush appeared on her cheeks and Maou smiled seeing that.

“Ugh. Okay. But tomorrow, you are taking a day off. And no buts!” She said firmly and Maou only nodded his head, knowing that it would be the best answer. “Good.” Now, she finally was smiling again, and Maou remembered why he likes her smile that much. It really brightens his day. Every time he sees her smiling at him like that. Because she smiles like that only at him, only when they are alone. He’s proud that he can make her smile like that.

But now he has to go. He pressed a quick kiss on her lips and went outside in a hurry.

Emila sighed. “Someday I will cure him of this workaholism.” She looked at the cupboard where she had candles prepared especially for today. She wanted to spend his day off together. At dinner, with wine and candles. Because, he promised her that they would spend today together. Just the two of them. Even Alas=Ramus was currently with Suzuno, so they could be left alone. She sighed. It didn’t work this time, but she had an idea what to do next time. “So he won’t betray me like that again.” She finished her thought and smiled as she sat on their small couch. Yes, next time she won’t let him go. And she even knows what she will do to keep him from leaving the house.

First day - Adulting

I know I’m late, but I wanted to add something from myself anyway haha

Adulting wasn’t easy. Especially for Maou. Yes, he has a job and wife and a daughter but… It’s something new to him. Starting with daily chores. Washing dishes, cooking, cleaning. Maou was not used to doing this kind of task. Usually, it was Alciel who was doing this kind of things. Not him. That is why the first weeks of living with Emi were a torment for him.

Well, maybe it’s an exaggeration. Maou liked to work and learn new things. It was just tiring. But he had to admit that the fact that his wife was with him helped. Maybe she was losing her patience at times, but she did her best to help him. She explained, she showed how to do things. She was just there for him.

And honestly? It was enough for him.

After he had done some assignment, normal for other couples living together, but so new to him, his daughter would always jump onto his arms and kiss him on the cheek.

“You did great, Dad!” she would say. After that, Maou had the energy to learn even more.

Or another example. When he learned to cook a new dish (Alciel taught him), he would receive a prize from his wife at night. Even though she might still have a little trouble expressing her feelings verbally, she did it perfectly using actions and gestures.

That’s why Maou was ready to grow up. To become at least a little responsible. Because he had people for whom it was worth becoming an adult.

Day 4 - Bubbles

Another one, even tho it’s late, hehe

They finally have some time for themselves. Lately, it was chaotic. They had to prepare Alas=Ramus for kindergarten. Buy the necessary things like coloring books, crayons and change of clothes. And a lot of more things. And that meant shopping for the three of them. Of course, now half-angel has no problem going out with Maou, her fiancée, but shopping with three of them is always insane. Alas=Ramus is everywhere. In every compartment. She sees everything, likes everything. It’s hard to keep her in one place.

In the end, however, it worked. They bought the necessary things and took the girl to kindergarten. Now they finally have a moment to themselves.

Emi thought the best form of relaxation was taking a bath. That’s why she decided to use her free time this way. Now Emilia is laying in the bathtub, relaxing. The bathtub was full of bubbles that had formed after pouring the bubble bath. She deserved that after this week.

She sighed and rested her head on the arm of the tub, closing her eyes.

A few minutes later, she heard someone open the bathroom door.

“Maou!” she exclaimed, surprised by his presence here. “It was supposed to be my free moment. I wanted to rest.”

“That’s why I’m here,” he said, taking off his clothes. And although the woman didn’t want to look like a peeper, she could not resist sneaking glances at the boy’s body. Even though he is now an ordinary man and does not have the muscular body that he had as Satan anymore, he was still attractive to her.

Though it took her so long to admit it.

“What is that supposed to mean” her tone was as proud as ever.

“It means I’m coming in” And as he did as he said. He slipped into the tub, sitting down across from the woman. His legs were spread apart so that his feet were on either side of the woman’s body. Emilia blushed involuntarily.

“Y-You’re gonna spoil the mood. And waste the bubbles. Look, there are fewer now.” She tried to say something because she didn’t want him to notice her embarrassment. Knowing him, he’d start teasing her right away.

“Do I know?” he muttered and took some foam on his hand, then he blew into it, making the foam and a few bubbles flew towards Emila. One bubble landed on her hair, bursting rapidly.

“Now you have wasted the bubble on your hair” Maou said in a serious voice, although seeing Emila’s expression he started to laugh. Emilia splashed water on him.

“pfft” she muttered and plunged into the water so that only her eyes were above the water.

Maou sighed and leaned towards her, hugging her.

“Hey!” The girl immediately surfaced. She wanted to react somehow, but she didn’t feel like making a fuss now. Feeling the boy’s arms around her, she immediately relaxed again. Maybe she was unnecessarily stressed? Although, it’s hard to blame her.

“Better?”

“Yhm”

“Good. Let’s change position,” he said, and then seated her in front of him. The girl leaned against his chest and had to admit that it was even more relaxing.

A dozen or so minutes passed, in which they both just sat in silence and enjoyed each other’s closeness.

Eventually, however, Maou spoke up.

“Emi”

“Huh”?

“I guess sitting in this position wasn’t my best idea”

The girl frowned and raised her head to look at the boy.

“Maou what have you mea- oh.” Now she felt it.

“Yeah…” He met her eyes.

Well, maybe now they’ll relax by doing other things.
