Hi, this is a containment blog for my AoT fan art/projects! I'm a comic artist and animator, though I'll be mostly be focusing on the former here.

#oh my GOD i severely underestimated how long it would take to sew this jacket #like i've just been putting the split up front and back pieces together and sewing the pockets and shoulder straps this weekend #and doing the button holes too #ok but now thats all done i can finally sew the main body pieces together and (hopefully) sew the arms tomorrow #but jfc this morning. the thread kept breaking. the bobbin plastic broke while i was spinning more thread on it so i couldnt use it anymore #i accidentally broke the thread while i was turning one of the pocket flaps inside out #thank god my friend asked me to go on a motorbike ride with him i really needed a mental reset otherwise i would've lost it #it was really nice cruising along the coast and suburbs and i think we both needed it #also i think a car almost merged into me?? like i turned my head and saw this car sitting right next to me in the form one line lane #and i was like oh okay. well that car was behind me ever since we turned onto that road and i was in front!!#so idk where they got the idea that they could try and get in front of me. get back!!#maple.doodle

ohh what have i gotten myself into

#i got the weekend off work so im gonna sew my cosplay jacket since its gonna be quite the operation #if things go well i think i should be able to get the main part of it sewn tomorrow #and bc the back wings of freedom patch arrived i can attach that right away! it looks awesome #the smaller emblems i cant yet... bc im hand embroidering them #unfortunately i have the “if you want something done a certain way you better do it yourself” mindset #that certain way being the patches having no black outlines bc the big one i bought is lineless #i like hand embroidery but it does take a while and i dont think i'll be done with these three until mid-june at the pace i'm going #jsdfdsj all this effort for something i'll only wear a handful of times 😭#it's gonna rule though and it'll be unique!#maple.ramble

are there any ships with miche you really like or don't really like?

the only ships i like with miche are with nanaba and erwin (though nanamike gets the edge up bc they're both really cute together) the other ships with him like levi and hange i don't care about. and bc i've seen it before, any ship with him and anyone from the 104th gets a massive no from me

#havent used this term in eons but ig nanamike is my otp #a lot of the fan art ive seen of them is so sweet it melts my heart #and like when i got tomodachi life i was so adamant on getting those two together and theyve been married for like 2 weeks #also just realised ive been calling them nanamike. i think that name flows better #remembers when i said that i dont really care abt shipping #i mean for the most part im still indifferent but there are a few exceptions #maple.mail

successfully put on the odm gear harness and honestly it wasnt as difficult as i initially thought but it still took me an hour and was finicky as hell

#thank you decade old youtube tutorial #wore my boots with it and they actually kinda slay. gonna be so cool once i have the whole uniform on #and yeah i will be posting pics but just dont expect to see my cute face :p #and i figured out how to go to the bathroom with it on #bc the center belt is only attached to the harness you can simply pull down your pants and make sure the back straps arent #over your arse so u can sit lmao #problem solved!#maple.ramble

Dying my denim fabric and the good thing is that i got the colour i wanted!

Bad thing is that there wasnt enough water for 2 metres worth of fabric so i was hunching over the bath rotating the damn thing
